Hi adam what a nightmare, how dare they take peoples hard earned money then not let them in to the property it doesn't matter if its £7 or £100 what if you had booked a week there what would of happened? and the cost of your petrol etc its disgusting 😡😡😡 please report to the tourist board or who ever needs to know what is going on. Shockingly awful. How they can run a business like that I just don't know... As I said yesterday, they really shouldn't say it's a family-friendly hotel. Could you imagine hanging around in the hall indefinitely with little children? It'd be a nightmare. Those places are definitely not child friendly....or ANYONE friendly for that matter.

We always stay at the Ruskin hotel now in Blackpool fantastic accommodation, food, service and entertainment all outstanding 👌 😀 paying a bit more saves you more in the long run 😂

Doesn't surprise me with this embarrassment of a place. One of the worst hotels ever needs closing down the way they treat their guests and when you walk past you see chavs and junkies hanging around staring as you pass. Driftwood is a horrible hovel of a place.

New Subscriber here, been planning my hotel stays, but can you imagine if a family booked that, after a long train or bus ride, kids tired and bursting for the toilet, absolutely disgusting.

I dont think they ever planned on letting you in. I wouldn't rent out a hotel room for 7 or 14 quid a night, it's nowhere near worth the hassle of checking someone in, cleaning the room afterwards and the running costs of a business.

Driftwood, brings back the Band 'Travis' hollow and of no use, I think the whole town is like driftwood.

Hope you managed to get a refund, she sounded either drunk or drugged or probably both. Get yourself up to the North Yorkshire Coast and you will definitely get a warm welcome and some of the best beaches around.

Booked in there a couple of years back for two nights managed to stay for 1 night left & stayed in another hotel could not handle it you were lucky mate the Driftwood I thought it was made out of driftwood

Can i just note this hotel is a royal pain, my mum has a hotel called driftwood in north shore cocker st, the amount of people who give us abuse becuase of this hotel and the way its run is unreal, how do they get away with that shitshow 😂😂

I've stayed in LAS PALMAS BLACKPOOL on 29.08.2024 for 2 nights, wake up at 1am terrifying by bedbugs all over the bed and on my body I was beaten badly, I couldn't asleep in morning I show it to the boss's wife she changed the room for me but didn't care more it ruined my stay, I've asked for refund they ignored me, the entrance is old small bad, the room small bad, the bed is broken, the TV didn't work properly, the pillows was full of marks of blood from bedbugs.

Maybe they manage to earn enough to keep running by never checking guests in, they've got the money, guests, like you, can't be bothered getting the refund so they keep the money, but the guests aren't using the facilities and utilities, no cleaning required etc so very little outgoings

Do the Jesmond international hotel. You should still ask for your money back . Its awful service. £14 you paid. Id get a Refund

check out the boomerang the owner actual owners get drunk from the minute they wake up till they fall in there pit mate turn on the customers and abuse the 1 staff they got watched them personall go for it day after day until one of the customers husbands offered the man out they were fully booked with dancers which were children and parents over asking for another towel as theres wasn't changed 😮disgusting place
