Basic math. There are 6 turns so turn 3 is at the halfway point in most game (excluding magic and limbo location) Vs turn 4 when the math tells you that the game is 2/3 the way over……so your last 2 played really need to matter
I love this type of move deck. Been playing versions of it since kingpin was a 3 cost and destroyed stuff on turn 6. Can’t wait to get Herc later this month and try this list out.
I made my own version of a similar deck in anticipation of the buffs. Kingpin, Kraven, Jeff, Hercules, Polaris, Spider-Man, Miles, Stegron, Cannonball, Vision, Alioth, Magneto
Thanks for the video and the deck. I might have to try rolling for Hercules when he comes back up in the caches. In the meantime, any suggestions on who to replace him with? Thanks.
It's so cool to me that Magneto has been the exact same card since release and even the beta with no changes to text or power and he's just consistently been one of the best or better 6-cost cards.
One of the few times they just got it right the first time. He’s such a great card but also balanced in a way that he can pull power to win other locations but if he pulls to much he can’t steal a location with just power. They really hit the nail on the head with him. Has never been a meta where he’s busted but he’s always good in all metas. Just always has been a very solid card.
Herc at 3 seems a lot better for classic Move decks since their early game is usually kinda wack. You can drop him on 3 while you try to wait to draw a move card or enabler, then get it going on 4. Herc on 4 was just too late.
Now that I think about it. How come thena gets plus 3 and kraven doesn’t? Kraven is probably harder to achieve than thena especially with the move nerf. I think kraven should give +3 🤷♂️
Second dinner has previously said that they try to take extra care buffing power curves for series 3 cards. The fact that series 3 cards are so widely available means that even small power shifts for these cards can drastically warp the overall meta.
It’s interesting they bugged Hercules right before his cache week. I already have him but I wonder if he’ll like have the same impact when Snow guard was buffed right before their cache week once I forget when it was but I remember it.
seeing all those players go with move just cause they buffed some cards... let's us hope that SD never buffs jumping of a cliff or something like that (not talking about regis, he is a content creator, of course he must play the new things)
10:55 Fairly sure thats Phoenix Force with Nico. Could be Phoenix Force Tribunal hence why they left, because if your Force plays are done you usually just pivot to Shuri Nimrod but he left so maybe Force Tribunal
Personally, I always felt like the move archetype was fine power-wise. I know I just don't like the archetype. No amount of buffs are going to make me want to play a move deck.
I feel like Herc will come into fruition with the second half of the Move package when the spider cards hit in August. Herc and Madame Web in a Tennis Deck has potential.
