Rooting for Niko and Monesy to not only win their first ever major, but the first CS2 major would definitely be legendary and would seem fit for the legend Niko himself.
It all depends on how well they adapt to new engine and mechanics. I think CS2 will totally swap tier1 upside down. Last major already have shown that names doesnt matter and teams like Apeks, Gamerlegion or Into The Breach can get to quarters or even finals.
As sad as it is, this is nothing more but extreme wishful thinking, there has never been a major winning team with 4 players above the age of 25, and only one team with 3 such players (Gambit). Thus, statistically speaking, their chances of winning elite tournaments are extremely small, unfortunately. At the very least they need to replace Hunter with a solid young rifler. Luckily, there are plenty of good options.
Not this g2. They are all good, don't get me wrong. But they are not enough. They need to kick hooxi and hunter and bring a good igl and a new rifler. I would bring siuhy and iM.
Good team with great individual players and great forward facing chemistry. G2 have a chance of making the first CSGO org to make more money than they spend if they just stick with this roster and find a way to milk the plethora of fans that love seeing you guys play together. G2 renewed my interest in esports with this roster and I don't think anyone's lacking to the point of seriously talking about roster changes. Keep doing you boys, and get NiKoa gah-damn major. Love from Texas.
Yknow i hate when dudes be all like "replace hooxi, he can't frag, bla bla bla," like the ONLY reason G2 was able to take a map off faze was from T side calling on ancient. The only current problem is some inconsistency on the guns in crucial moments, and leaving inferno in. What we saw on ancient vs faze (who has a pretty damn good ancient) was an amazing T side on a CT sided map, from a team that finally plays as a unit, not just 5 individuals. If I'm swani or hooxi, I'm taking a look at the map pool like "why the fuck are we playing inferno? everyone is reading us like a book on there, and we're losing consistently." The map is way too straightforward and cramped for a team with an IGL as good as hooxi and an awper as talented as ilya. I say include an overpass in the map pool in place of inferno, with the summer break coming up and enough prep time to get the map down, it might yield better results
This is a great take. I really agree with this. It's also not good for their morale to keep losing on the same map. It's best to rotate from the monotony. Also great points about hooxi and monesy on inferno
Why can’t we get more Na tournaments, this was the first I had been to and there were so many people there rooting for every team and the energy was insane
How many times Niko did solo play and died? Just imagine if g2 won't go for multikills and play 5v4, 4v3 and so on with trades...so much mistakes but I keep believe in u guys. Let's go G2!
