Excellent production value in your video. As an owner of the RX1R and RX1R mkii I agree with your analysis and comments - it's a great camera. Some youtube videos suggest the A7C / A7CR range is the replacement as a rangefinder style ILC but I don't agree. There are some wonderful image characteristics from the Zeiss lens in terms of colour and micro contrast that deliver a special final image

Thanks a lot for commenting here and sharing your point of view about it, yes I also agree the A7CII and R are great cameras but even when paired to a small 50mm F2.5 G lens which is tiny It is still much bigger than an RX1 and the experience is totally different as well 🙏

You pay three grand for one of the best 35mm lenses ever made and they give you a camera behind it for free. I had the RX1R ll but in the end I couldn’t live with the terrible menu system and practically impossible manual focus, the autofocus was still very much in its infancy. I now have an A7CR on order. What else?

I would love to get any of the rx1 cameras, but i can't justify the resale price of them and the hassle of the batteries.
