I thought she gave a very good speech. Everyone has a right to change their minds; she was brave enough to declare that she had been wrong and give her support for Trump. I was glad to see that she received cheers and support from the audience at the RNC. If the people who expressed unkind opinions claim to be Christians, I believe there is something on the bible about casting the first stone.

We should embrace all that want to be on our side. My girlfriend before I met her use to be a Democrat, until she saw why I believed in what I believed as being a conservative Republican. When people (especially women) have children, their priorities change. It doesn’t mean that everyone is going to change their position on everything, but they spend more time thinking about their actions and beliefs before just jumping with no parachute, like they did when younger. Amber Rose doesn’t “Fit in” with the traditional look of the RNC but the RNC is long overdue for a remodel. I say this as a 50+ y.o. Life long Republican.

I never heard of her before last night. When she came out, I got an uncomfortable feeling, and now I understand why, but when I listened to her speech, I saw no problems. I respected her for doing her research and for admitting she had been wrong. I appreciate her support for President Trump and I can pray for her to find redemption in her spiritual life.

People need a redemption arc. If you keep telling people that they haven't passed the "purity test" then you'll end up with no one on your side. We can be critical of passed behavior, but when someone admits that they were wrong we need to welcome them and help them find their way. A lot of the religious (both Christians and Jews) need to remember the power of forgiveness and like my pastor has said "hate the sin, not the sinner".
