Personally I think the rework concept doesn't match what Capito is supposed to be or do he is ment to be plant cover and to seal of entry ways we don't need another zofia or ash

Exactly. Even though Capitão isn’t a popular operator I lost to a Capitão main in rank and he is already OP enough to the right hands. If anything they should change his crossbow into a rifle that can bend itself to peak side to side.

I like Capitao the way he is, he covers area and can deny defuses. That change just makes him Zofia.

Hes fine rn with his role-but they could buff how long his smoke and fire bolts last , give an extra bolt for both bolt types , or buff how much ground the bolts cover. ( to make him better ) This is more of a good idea for a another op (defender or attacker) & they could have them use a bow instead . Like where you could either choose smoke or flash arrows ( for one) , and explosive or poison gas arrows. (for the other )

I'm pretty sure the smoke bolt covers more area than regular smokes, if they made it last as much as a regular smoke it would be much more viable. Also we already have zofia with her impact and proximity stun launcher so another operator that similar would be redundant. Also if they want a defender with flashes or smokes they could add them to warden to make his gadget more self sufficient and it wouldn't be that broken as you'd have to sacrifice your c4

no bad rework honestly, it would make him kind of a second zofia, and i think that for capitao's role his current gadget is good. There are already plenty of entry fraggers (zofia, ash, nook, amaru etc...)and i think he's better off doing what he's supposed to do, move targets from a place to an other to help the team kill them, and even use the smoke to help the push/plant. He is a support operator and should remain as such.

Basically, this new Capitao rework has just added both an impact and stun grenade ammo type to his crossbow. Essentially just adding Zophia’s ability to Capitao’s existing abilities.

Cap doesnt need any buffs or reworks. Especially a completely busted impact flash. Hes already kinda over kitted. He has psuedo grenades, smokes, a gonne 6 to destroy utility, and hard breach. He actually benefits off of the extended barrel buffs so his gun is a 2-3 shot now plus 1.5x and 2x. His LMG survived the LMG nerfs, and he's a 3 speed. My man is goated with the sauce and nobody talks about it.

Over the years playing siege I watch these and I'm like "yeah I probably would have died there too" but now I'm sitting here watching people staring eachother down for whole seconds before even aiming, where can I get games that play so slowly like that if you aren't aiming and firing the exact moment your brain chemical reacts to seeing the image of an enemy with me your dead damn

Goyo’s canisters don’t do explosive damage on detonation anymore since the rework - edit the fire ticks start instantly though

Capitao already have normal gadget... As i think ubi need to give him 4multiarrow, if u want u can use 2fire 2smoke, or 3fire, or 4fire and etc, and u can do that in game(changing only arrowhead, so u have only 4 shots at all), and shotgun-pistol as the secondary going to be spectacular

Giving Capitao versatility is interesting, but his gadget needs to be nerfed to have projectile drop. You could use the same concept for ash as well.

Rework concept is Zofia but with flashes instead of concuss, i don’t think it would be healthy long-term to be such similar gadgets. If zofia ever gets reworked though this could be the play for capi, but I seriously doubt zofia reworks will ever be needed.

Just give him back frag grenades as a secondary gadget like he had in Y1S3. It was fun shooting a hole in a wall, then chucking grenades and firing crossbow bolts through it. Turning him into Zofia seems like a lot of effort and would hurt his primary ability.
