I’m looking forward to getting this bike. They currently have a $600 off sale, so that helps some. My current e-bike, not nearly as well designed as this one, weighs 48 lbs. It will be great to experience the smaller weight size of the Carbon 1S, which unlocks a Shimano 7-Speed Rear Derailleur, which adds a little more weight. The current sale includes a bike stand and fenders, so that’s good. The stand should be included regardless. The bike is expensive, but it seems like the material and manufacturing costs are probably more than half the cost of the bike. The packaging itself is premium, with the bike 90% assembled. Thanks for your great overview of the bike. I can’t wait for it to arrive.
Wow, that's looks amazing and all the smart features are pretty cool. I think they should add turn lights in the front of the handle bars as well. How is the ride comfort? And does it feel rugged? Could it take a fall or some punishment? Kinda missed that in the review.
Pedals are cheapest crap for 500km max. On plus quite fast charger - 4Amps is a decent speed/healthy charge. My first e-bike was with Phylion battery company - it is the biggest e-bike battery manufacturer in China as I remember. Battery was really decent and before i sold those e-bike I made 9k without any range decrease
The only thing I immediately see very critically are the missing fenders. The \"hole\" under the armchair also allows further dirt to fly. It always looks very stylish and sporty if you don\'t have mudguards, but it\'s still totally impractical.
The day before yesterday I checked to see if you had a review for the bike. 😂 great timing I especially like the weight, the price and the design. It is also worth mentioning that the lighting should be StVO-compliant. The only thing I\'m missing, like originally with the cowboy, is a fender and stand, they\'ve already learned that from the cowboy. But when I buy a bike with such a cool design, the sheet metal should support the impression. I agree.
This guy is obsessed with how light it is. But he didn’t really talk about range. Ok he just mentioned possibly 40 km range. He only ran it for 1/3 power and guessed 40.(24 miles) seems like decent range. But I wanna know for sure. A 1/3 test isn’t good enough for me.
Really! Sorry to say I test ridden the next model up “Urtopia Carbon 1/1s” an upgrade seven gears at a local bike shop. And I can say Utopia Carbon One out performed two other brands I had tested, Gazelle Medeo T10 HMB, and SpecializedTurbo Vado SL 5.0. Of cause, these models are totally different compared to Utopia, it was more about how all three models responded on the road from shifting gears, pedal assist, and steering. For me, Urtopia won in the three comparisons. I can’t answered for Urtropia first generation, but Carbon One (Second Generation) was amazing experience to ride. And neither are any of the Carbon One components cheap by any means. Carbon is a solid e-bike and it shows when taking it for a spin.
