A cool interaction is if magician of chaos is destroyed, you can special illusion of chaos from hand. Then when you negate with illusion you can special magician of chaos from GY coz it’s treated as Dark magician

I love how you can essentially use the opponent's end phase as an extra main phase with this deck.

Just a personal preference. I run Imduk instead of Spider as it’s a dragon with the same requirements. Meaning you can link into it eternal soul DM for DMTDK. Nice little combo that can be more than easy to pull off.

Both dark magician and dark magician girl got final attack animation. Exactly the same no difference but still cool that they both have final attack animation hoping for more main characters monster attacks

Illusion is quite possibly the best support card DM has got lately and Blue Eyes got Jet Dragon as a functional support the other time. Red Eyes is missing that key card to be viable in MD.

I've been playing this and a reborn-fusion version of this since illusion of chaos came out. It really destroyed in the Legend Anthology they had, and im getting pretty high up the ladder with this version of it. You will never see your opponent rage harder than when you draw 4 to 5 cards, fusion summon 2 times while special summoning 4 times, wipe his field, banish his boss, wipe his field again, then hit him for game in one turn.

At 7:51 it would have been a better play to summon Magician's Rod add and activate Circle, then go into BP. ATK with Dark Magician and Rod then activate Secrets of Dark Magic to summon Illusion of Chaos then activate Eternal Soul to bring back DM then ATK with both of them leaving him 1100LP. I think he just got tunnel vision though.

Ok so I recently started playing a Dark Magician deck mixed with Buster Blader and its actually a lot of fun to play and it can be pretty good with forcing them to be dragons and making it to where dragons cant do anything with Buster Dragon and Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman and even being able to make it to where they cant use their extra deck and even if you dont get buster dragon you play so many dragons Dark Paladin still is really strong not to meantion the other usual Dark Magician extra deck cards not is isnt always the most consistant admittedly Im still working on the best ways to make it more so but its still lots of fun

Oh man I'm glad your showing this lol. I've been trying to to other dm decks. But it's been .asking me lose more often lol because i show them it. Plus the intentional bored wiping doesn't help but it's fun biuld8ng it all back up just to do it again and again. Anyways your awesome BTW. If I ever build a de k I always. He k what your thoughts are on it and usually I in agreement with your deck builds. I very rarely change it. But for your next deck build you should look back to your slifer dm deck. With the added support for dm now and the new trap card for slifer. You can build up a nasty deck with slifer as a tko and dm deck for back up. Also I've heard it's works good in kings queen knights deck. Comes to no surprise tho lol. Especially after the event. But yeah I added slifer to the dm deck it's great and fun I have it up to 60 cards Main deck 12 extra. It can be trimmed down. But you will know what I mean by that I just have a full deck for the long haul casual matches. As far as changes you had a de k profile a while ago for it when you did your sacred beasts vs Egyption God deck video. Just add in the new trap cards and same strategy run dm unless the opportunity for slifer rises. But that's also why I have it bumped to 60 more chances. For reals tho Its fun now.

You should try use red-eyes slash Dragon. That’s the closest I can get to Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon.

Bruh, I sometimes mistake the editor's card animation for the game's own, they're well made. You're right too, some of those cards should have their own animation.

Illusion of chaos is a good meta update card for this archetype.

They Should make Dark Magician Archetype have more Ritual Monsters since Ritual is like the least used Method of the Protagonist in their Respective Show (Other protags besides Yugi have their deck revolve around a Summoning Method).

I think Diablosis at 2 or 3 is great for dm, and even better with a shorter, consistent dm deck, 2 level 7's on the field make diablosis activate effect banish with diablosis loop dm by special summon e soul with circle on the field banish card of your choice. It could be interrupted of course but its worth going for if you know the way is clear.

To make rituals great, they should have been allowed to be summoned from the deck and even graveyard, maybe.

You could easily destroy magician of chaos with it's own effect, then special summon illusion of chaos from hand, and revive him with eternal soul, 2 card combo 2 rituals.

Whats your thought on running a copy of bond between teacher and student and black magic attack? It came in clutch quite a few times while playing DM, you get DMG, which is an extra draw for soul servant, 2 special summon opportunities with magician's salvation, also allows for a FREE magician's rod return to hand, more mats for The Dark Magicians for more draws and summons, plus, quickplay opponents board wipe, while milling your deck down by 3 for drawing your non dark magician cards you cant search. Dark magic attack has won me a lot of games. Also sprights hate it when you have DM Dragon Knight with eternal souls, also I run a Destined Rivals cause f**k Sprights.

My dark magician combo is dark magician the dragon knight eternal souls and piercing the darkness out on the field bc the only way I’ve been beaten on master dual with these 3 out is when someone sent eternal soul back to my hand somehow and my hand was empty
