Kinda dig the blue, I've always thought cool colors were nicer than white - like the Fractal Pop Air varieties. Also good on them for the ARGB/PWM splitter included at the sub-100 price. Actually considering a transplant to this case now. I like it more than my Cougar MX-330-G Air.

Well maybe junk is too harsh. I bought one of their first cases ages ago and yes, build quality was not that good ( although not even that bad) but I paid it 35€ brand new off Amazon. And that was with 3 included pwm fans. The price made it up for the sub optimal build quality. Hell, a single fan of my current build is 32€. Almost no product is junk, those who are it's because they are overpriced.

That is actually an interesting case. I like the blue, and the case seems pretty thoughtfully designed. Equipping it with a full suite of fans is nice, as if it's a new build (or builder) you don't need to worry about mismatched fans or having to buy extras. The flipped fans is also a nice touch.The accessories pack is nice. If they made a mesh version of this in blue, I'd be tempted to use this for a new build. But i'm just not into the whole tempered glass thing.

Love Micro Center but hate that there's too few locations and their policies with limiting the most desirable items to in store purchase only to snub all the online scalpers. The closest one to me is an 8.5hr(!) drive away. Creates a massive gap between the have and have nots that aren't within a reasonable driving distance to one of their stores and makes you question the choice to sponsor content on a world wide platform when the company can't even cover a quarter of the US. I wish they'd expand to Salt Lake City cause our ONLY option is Best Buy and their terrible never in stock limited choices and pre-scalped AIB products.

So speaking of those little LCD panels as sensor panels, I am about to finish up a 3D printed design for mounting one to the rear of a Lian Li O11! If anyone is interested in the files for it, I will be posting them to Thingiverse hopefully tomorrow! :) Will probably title it "5 inch Display mount for Lian Li O11 Dynamic", also working on adapting it to standard 120mm fan mount. Small edit: Just ordered the threaded inserts and screws for testing, won't be delivered until next week and I don't feel comfortable posting the design if I can't verify it works 100%. So will be posting by next Friday (1/20/2023) if all goes well! EDIT: I FINALLY FINISHED IT!!!! School caught up with me plus one of my prints failed so I lost motivation for a bit but the project is on Thingiverse :) Just search " 5" Display mount for Lian Li O11 Dynamic " and you will find it.

I just built in their Sky One for a Christmas gift and found it a great case, particularly for the price, which is even lower than this one. I liked it so much that now I'm building in the Sky Two. A blue one like in the review. A couple of things that Jay didn't mention which builders should be aware of. Depending on your mb's layout, cable fitment can be TIGHT. A USB 3.0 header that fires straight out the bottom is gonna be a problem. EPS cable up top with an AIO may cause issues. You wanna put a rad where the side intake fans are, you ain't fitting that monster GPU in there. (There's a reason that the ones shipped out for review also seem to have included the same air cooler for the reviewer to use.) A Sky Two 2.0 with juuuuuust a little more room all around would be a Hall of Fame case at this price point. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great case. You just have to be aware of its limitations when planning your build.
@smash461986
@smash461986 Год назад
I had to cut some metal out of my sky one mini to get my USB header in. Also I've no idea how people fit the psu properly as there was no way to fit it naturally. Very tight fit but I needed smallest possible and the Asus Prime was a bit too long.

Great case review and awesome colour to show 🤩🤯🥰! - Montech the past 18 months has been coming in clutch with their case design, features and pricing! - Great to have different colour option for builders to personalise a pc more so than just black imo! - Quality of life features such as a combined motherboard header saves a few moments of annoying fiddling and accidentally pulling out of their cables as you try and get you pc power buttons etc connected are a great feature to have in todays crowded market! - As an ITX builder I much prefer smaller cases, but these newer mid tower designs and M-atx cases are looking soooo good that im considering my next build to go M-ATX 😱🤯🤩 - Montech is throwing in many fans (2-4) for a vg price into many of their pc cases without much additional cost which is great to see - Getting an RGB / Fan controller for $15-20 is a great value add considering big name brands are charging upwards of $40-60+ for their branded one …. They know who they are 🤦‍♀🤦💰😅😂🤣 Im sure there’s many other great things to feature here but these are my main things which I look for in my pc case purchase decisions!

Asked a clerk about it, and this being curing the crypto/work from home boom and lots of people buying PC parts I kinda feared the worst. Well my brother, who drove, and I ended up leaving with two GeForce RTS 3060 ti graphics cards and a new power supply at MSRP. I am SO glad Micro Center doesn't play around and to price fixing BS. I've had the exact same color case for two months now. The only negative I can find is there is just not enough room in the back for cable management. I'm about to blow it apart and transfer everything over to the Montech King 95.

I bought this case a month ago for 80 USD (In Taiwan). It is really a brilliant case for this price. Also about the extra fan, I highly recommend anyone who buy this case to installing it. I'm still using a MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11G. Before install that fan my GPU temperature at maximum loading is 83°C. After install the fan it's temperature drop to 78°C, which is very surprisingly.

WTF 93$ is nowadays considered budget LOL.... Back in 2013 when i bought my Fractal Define XL 2.0 it costed 130$ brand new (i got it even cheaper for 115$ new), and that was higher end case.. Sure someone may have the argument that Fractal was very new brand back then, and they did price their products cheap to gain brand recognition.. Ok but still these days 95-100$ to be considered budget, it just shows how everything got expensive AF...

Will my cable clear the side panel.... Another reason not to buy nvidia overpriced garbage this gen... Well the cards are not garbage, what makes them garbage is the price and for me the aux power connector. I dont think they really needed a new connector. The new connector still has 6x +12v conductors which are half the thickness of the conductors on a normal 8-pin PCIe, and guess what 2x 8-Pin PCIe has a combined 6x +12v conductors at twice the thickness. So if the new connector can handle 600W, 2x 8-Pin would easily do it as well despite only being rated for 150W, 150W was the original spec from when the 8-Pin was first introduced. (actually the Molex MiniFit Plus HCS 8-pins can support 12 Amps per 12v wire on good wires, like 16 AWG or better. Thats 36A @ 12v = 432W per connector, 2 connectors = 864W plus the 75W from the PCIe socket)... So really, a new connector wasnt needed, just use the newer versions of the 8-Pin and update the standard to suggest PSU manufacturers use 16AWG in thier PCIe 6+2 cables. I wont buy a new card with the new connector until they sort out the issues and make it so that I dont feel like I am going to snap the connector off the PCB or damage the cable trying to plug it in properly.

I'm considering this case for a new build. Looks like it has good cable management and will hold all my existing drives. Really liking this shade of blue and worth an extra $20 for something I'll be looking at for 5-8 years. I had to look carefully at the fan blades on that exhaust fan to be certain it was not also a reverse fan that would cause all of them to blow inward! The only thing I'm not liking is the location of the USB ports on the top, but my current system has them there as well. Just doesn't work as well for me because of where I have the PC sitting on my desk.

BIOS speaker? Front socket covers? I had and still have these in SilentiumPC/Endorfy cases. I already had these things in them 6 years ago. Poland is full of these housings. Designed here (in Poland), produced in China. They may not be colorful, but they work great, just like power supplies, cooling or water AIO.

Jay I'm sending this case back, cable management is not the greatest and like you said you have to be smart about it. I'm gonna go for the full tower case. Most likely the Cooler Master H500p case

I actually bought this case and did a build in it. I also found a major flaw. If you have a motherboard with a tall heat sink over the vrm's at the top of the MB, and most do. The heat sink will hit against the fans of the AIO. There isn't enough room. They didn't make enough room for the AIO at the top of this case. It's a major screw up. Buyer beware! The motherboard I used was a x570 gaming plus and I used an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II AIO 360

I need your wisdom. Excuse me cause I'm not native english so I'll try to explain me correctly. My Pc runs perfect BUT if I try to go in to the Bios the Pc gets frezze and I'm forced to hard stop pressing the on/off button. I can play RDR2 or WoW for hours without any problem. I can run all kind of test and benchs. However, if I restart the Pc and go to Bios always freeze. Ofc I can do a CMOS reset but I need to know what is happening. Any idea?

When looking for a pc case I always shop for value (i.e. all fans should be included, good airflow & cost should be under £100). I recently bought a good value case that no one seems to review on popular RU-vid channels. I bought an Antec df700 flux for £83 new, which comes with 5 fans (3 intake, 1 reverse for GPU and 1 out take). Having owned an antec 900 previously I think these cases are good value. Just another option for people to consider.

I'd like to see how it handles a hot load build. I have tried cases in the past that say they can keep components cool and end up failing on the cool end. The last one I bought (no names to protect anonymity) my components running Star Citizen were up in the 85-95c range. I dropped them into an old case (Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced) and with the same gear was down to 55-65c. Now this is all on air, not liquid, cooled if that would make a difference being liquid then maybe but I've never trusted liquid in electronics. It appears to have plenty of additional fans like my HAF case (2x230mm and 3x120mm). So again I'd love to see it with a hot system plugged into it.

The only one of these that I can find on Amazon UK (on 13/1/2023) costs £226 ($277)! I know Jay said prices may fluctuate, but that's ridiculous!! Does it really cost $180 or so to ship from the US?!?!

Put my most recent build (11600, 32gb, 2x 2tb nvme raid0, 3070) in a Montech I found at MacroPeriphery and have been pretty happy with the build overall. Nothing bad to say about their build quality for sure- And I went with a white case, first time ever

DIs liked. Just another box. Blame the mother board manufactures. I have my PC on the other side. Cant find a good case to run on my right. so I run a test bench style. Lian Li PC-T70 (WHite) all air cooled. its the port access, that running an every BOX cant fit. I want a left side PC. Again I blame motherboards 4th gen Ryzen has nothing to accommodate. So FLAT test bench style it will be.

$93? Amazon has em listed at $99(Black), $106(white), and $119(Blue), so you were dead on about the increasing price for the rarity of color. One other thing being able to remove that mesh allows: you can install a cd/dvd drive/burner if you need one for any reason in a case that otherwise couldn't support anything other than an external.

Washed cobalt? Case colors shouldn't impact costs much. As long as you keep the same plastic parts, common screws, etc. In car industry black paint is actually more expensive since black requires most thorough preparation (sanding, etc.) due to how black reveals imperfections. It's just milking people with special wishes. Also decent spray paints exist in 2023 for DIY. Not nearly as resistant as the factory "powder coated" ones, but still significantly stronger than 30 years ago.

Jay you should check out this case: Gamedias GD-APOLLO E2 Elite. It has an interesting design and I've bought multiple of them. You can pick them up for $60 and they are great cases for budget PCs
