@@bluexx24 on one end I agree with that idea, on the other, I recently managed to bring back to life an 8 year old hunk of metal and it runs the sims 4 fine with me decorating my houses to shit (all I'm using this for is building tho, no idea how it would fare when sims are living there)
Megsstuff I’m glad they did that for Sulani, but I don’t understand why they thought they needed to do it since the update that came with island living stopped people playing with 32 bit pc’s anyway sooo🤷♀️
i love how shes like "oh the builds not that bad i could do better without the timer" while im sat here overwhelmingly at my box houses that take me 2 hours on their own
OMG I am glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Though after trying this I decided to give it a shot, and it does actually help putting a timer on it.
@Yumi Yumi in America though it’s fairly modern to have some sort of tile instead of wood (especially if you live in the rural US) so that’s interesting
I think an interesting challenge could be randomizing, maybe in a wheel, the amount of time you have for each step of the build, so like the shell of the build, roofing, each room, etc and have like 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc so there’s a set time for each section if the build
Elizabeth Fleming Kind of Ladylike from Buzzfeed does. That would be an AWESOME idea because the results are almost always hilarious, and then there are some that are gorgeous. But I do love this house.
Though I’m trying to figure out which pack that green couch is from because I haven’t played properly in 2 years - partly from unknowingly dying of liver failure - and became the past few months I’ve tried, it overheats and crashes the whole computer. Fortunately my parents bought me (off of Overstock) a refurbished Dell Alienware laptop that’s $1200 REFURBISHED. It best run all the Sims stuff (at that price), because I wonder if that’s what was overheating my laptop all the time since it only crashed then. But it made me miss so many packs that I don’t know what comes with what to be honest. And whether to be the Simmer I always used to and buy all packs released because there are a couple of items I liked, and/or I’m a completionist. And it would crash WITHOUT ANY CC, without all EPs, or GPs, or all SPs. Probably why it makes me lose interest quick because I miss out on so much sometimes.
B I A I’ll take a look and see then! Like I said - my computer overheats IMMEDIATELY. A 1 TB (Dell) Alienware laptop should give me the chance to finally go through buy mode. And figure out if the bay window shaped, or however you describe it, it’s origin. I always watch LGRs and his reviews (4 times at LEAST now) as he is obsessed with and LOVES chairs, so he shows them all. Since I’m getting a new laptop my parents are letting me get some new packs, and I’m trying to figure out if there’s one I really want, or wait till “Realm of Magic” that Gurus and EA claims to come out this fall if I heard correctly. I’m just paranoid of downloading CC (not including mods) in fear of corrupting everything, which happened with my Sims 3, and I couldn’t play it until I bought a new laptop. I don’t want a repeat 😑
Girl, you make some great builds in 10 min. I can stare at the screen for 10 min before even drawing one wall with the wall tool. How about raising the stakes in this challenge and add in the need to complete a theme. Say, you had to finish a vet clinic with all its amenities, a prison, a day care, a library, a cafe, nightclub, etc. You could make a whole town in newcrest but all lots have to be done in 10 min a piece
Try not starting with floorplans. Some people work better in the other direction - so if on budget start with necessities, put them down and build up around it .. I feel like usually one will know what a bathroom should look like and contain, same goes for kitchen, and the rest falls into place somehow. No?
*when there’s something behind you and it just yeets you up. Like no I didn’t buy a ticket for this journey* am I the only one that laughed so hard at this I had to reply it? Hahaha
I'll be honest, I've never really been a proper fan of the Sims, but I have watched pretty much all of your videos XD I don't know, there's just something about your channel that I absolutely fell in love with and now I can't stop watching
Her personality is enchanting .. I would probably watch her commentating football games, despite being super bored by the sport (I had to watch a lot of football since I live in Germany and you can't escape that sport here, unless you never leave the house, perhaps)
@@kaydwessie296 I don't hate it. I got a mod to take care of it. That is what the community is for after all - and it is a minor detail I feel unnecessary to stress over. I don't understand why people just complain and don't do anything about it themselves. .. oh yes, that also led to current state of world affairs. Sorry, this took a sudden turn.
@@organicstorm A lot of people with disabilities are struggling with the bright contrast. It causes headaches, migraines, and even seizures for some players.
@@etta5487 I understand the possible issues just fine, but I refuse to believe that the majority of people complaining about the loading screen actually have "proper" health issues that somehow just are affected by the loading screen and not by playing the game in general etc.. There certainly are some people for which this is true, but the majority just likes to complain and frankly, I don't like the "but some people's brain/body can't handle it, too" excuse. If that hue of blue gives you migraines it is very unlikely you were able to play without any problems before the update either. let's be honest. And there are still mods going around that can help people take care of it themselves.
How do you celebrate that? We have a county/state festival where I live, but it's just like a normal festival with slight emphasis on regional drinks and foods .. I think. There's similar festivities all year round, I feel ..
I love all of your videos when ever I feel sad or ..... not happy I watch you and it makes me feel a lot better (I know its sounds cheesy but its true) k bye✌
You could have added an extra bathroom behind the stairs on the first floor. And I like that bed in the child's room!!! They ought to have a double bed like that for adults.
I have tried to build and play on this lot, and the camera does my head in, so i sympathise with you doing the 10 min build challenge and the camera is having a fit! You did good, that is a really cute house!
That is an awesome build for ten minutes. I could not do that in ten minutes. I am a rubbish builder. "I'm losing the plot, the plot's lost, I've never had the plot." You just summed up how I feel about my whole life. Lol. Like everyone has read the script and rehearsed and I've just been chucked on stage and told to improvise and not mess up the rest of the play while doing it.
It would be really cool if you did the entire history of death in the sims. Like the different ways your sim could die and the graphical evolution of the ghosts.
Merch! Look at that -- and yes, despite your repeated mental breakdowns, missed opportunities, and odd color choices, it actually didn't come out too bad! The outside is actually pretty cute, and the inside -- well, I kinda like the green living room. XD It just needs a little love. And more than ten minutes. :p
Honestly thank you soo much for building this, at least I have an idea of how to build a big normal sized house that doesn’t cost much. Love you sooo much! ❤️
I’ve been rewatching all your videos in isolation because...well, yeah, why not?! :/ but THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR CONTENT! It’s pure getting me through this, thank you so much lass. Love ya x
Uhhh....either I'm complete shite at building, or you're a genius architect to be discovered. This looks better than any house I've ever made in any sims game!!
2 minutes in and you have made better house then I do in 5 hours... I am landscape builder though. Built entire TS3 town, I mean landscape for it, just left empty lots.
