It's worth noting that this shotgun is almost half the price of a used A400 Xcel Parallel Target without the Kick out and it's practically the same gun. This is a solid value and no one should worry about their customer service support. In my experience it's one of the best in the industry. I had an issue when I first purchased one of their shotguns. I sent it to their authorized repair center in NH, and they send it back better than new. BTW this is an authorized repair center that deals in Perazzi firearms so they know a thing or two about shotguns.
After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel ru-vid.comUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!
Another fun video Steve! your skills amaze me...I've complained to you prior but Berretta still has mine (trigger reset issue) after 4 mo's...I've made a dozen calls, sent emails, and elevated to higher level and nothing...needless to say i'm fed up and just want my money back now (doubt that will happen) and nothing to do with a Beretta ever again...
I have about 2000 rounds through my 20 guage with no problems...including no problems with the trigger. Maybe they fixed the problem, or maybe the 20 guage is different.
I know you made this comment a year ago, but yes Beretta DID make changes to the later guns. The issue was with the metallurgy of the hammers in the first run. The hammer would become bent and this ends up being blamed as a “trigger” issue because it is part of the trigger group. They fixed the issues with the hammers and the runs after the issue was identified came with the new hammers tk that didn’t have that issue.
Not a criticism of your video at all, but I'm not surprised a $7/8 hundred shotgun occasionally hiccups when forced to fire from geometries for which it wasn't designed. I suspect even higher-end guns also will have trouble from time to time under those conditions. More concerning (for me, anyway) is the trigger problem, although that seems easy to remedy, if inconvenient. FWIW, I have one of these in 20 gauge, and so far I've had zero problems (I bought it for shooting clays, and as a backup gun for friends and family that can't handle higher recoil.) Overall an honest review. FYI, maybe youtube didn't like you talking about replacing the trigger? I know it's not an upgrade, but, like you, I'm puzzled.
@@speedybeak Fairly straightforward, just follow the instructions here, it is same process as for the older Outlander: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w8ilfjjIh3A.html
@@ArbitraryLifestyle at least my kick off system feels like a pulse or a 2 stage recoil. It shoots super light for felt recoil just was asking if there was any way to make it one motion
@@ArbitraryLifestyle im digging through emails and just saw this, my A300 had somewhat of a 2 stage recoil its hard to describe. The kick off system did break in and now is very smooth even comfortable to shoot even overhead. Ill have to say that i have gotten some recoil to the cheek on a bad mount
I bought this gun in 20 gauge and first time out I could not get a round to eject. I used Federal and Fiochi #9 at 1,200 FPS. I know brand new they say run a little bit hotter loads. Please someone let me know your thoughts. I also just started reloading 12 & 20 gauge 7/8 oz. Was wondering if making some around 1250-3000 will help it to start cycle. Out of 25 rounds it cycled 2 consecutive rounds once, so it did happen. I admit I did find that I didn't have the forearm on right at the beginning, and fixed that. I did clean and oil it before going out, but yes I could of done a little better job. I was running it wet like my AR.
Great videos Steve, after watching several of your videos, I still went ahead and bought the Beretta A300 ultima. Out of the box, first cleaned it well using Rem oil and to reach the breaking point and to try it, i took it for clay shooting put 125 rounds of Winchester 1200 2 3/4 No 7.5 and the a300 ultima did not eject the shells and did not cycle at all. Took the a300 ultima to the shooting range and put 10 rounds of 2.75, 1325 buck 00, and one box of 1350 No 7.5 and it ejected and cycled without w problem. After that i switched back to the try the 1200 No 7.5 and the A300 ultima was not ejecting the the 1200 shells. I am wondering if the a300 ultima will come to a point to eject and cycle the 1200 shells. I read a comment on beretta's website that he had the same experience not ejecting the 1200 shells. Any thoughts or did you try to use the 1200 shells with the a300 ultima? Thank you again and keep tagert focus.
Same problem with me. It's a shit gun. The user manual says 1200 is within spec for this gun,. But it doesn't work. I'm demanding Beretta fix this for me. So far the costs are astronomical, and the wait time is insane. Lucky I have warranty, but the customer care is dog shit
Looking to get primarily for squirrels is it worth im not paying for a gun to break it in thats bs hand a franchi 20 ga sold it 3 boxes still no ejection will this be the same?
They’re not suppressing their videos. Their content just sucks. These dudes are as personable as a wet paper bag. They’re cringe and act like children just like that other man baby demolition ranch. But unlike him they don’t have any cool guns or content. Just boring nonsense.
Any gun channel gets merked. I used to get lots of views too and struggle now to break 1k on a lot. These guys should be promoted because their messaging apart from guns is really good.
This company is absolute dog poop. I've owned this gun for 14 months, and it's only been in my possession for 3 of those months. The other 11 months this gun has waited to be repaired by Beretta. Absolutely will NEVER RECOMMEND this gun simply because of Berettas customer care. Turns out my gun needs and entire new spring, piston, and trigger. Never worked right out of the box
It would be nice if you appropriately recycled your used shells instead of burying them, they will stay there forever. Anyway, great shooter and nice video and review.
Picked one up few days ago. Bass pro hooked it up, they price match euro optics/ optics planet so I found a low low deal Plus my bass pro gift cards and the rebate beretta is having for 75🫘 I got this great shotgun for almost nothing
