But don't you still have the cost of a 4th board with your 3rd? I mean couldn't you have gotten the same result just by swapping them? I know you don't reach another edge on the last board, but theoretically, you could just swapped them and then have the same result [if you were to reach an edge on your last board]?

Doesnt that make the notes on your 4th board much harder to reach? And you have a lot more nodes on it.

The example is not the best. Instead of removing the temporary 3 board, you could put the board you want as 3 (Revealing) there (where Sapping ends up as 5) to begin with before you attach the 4 board and have Sapping where Revealing is and it'd still be 5. This can definitely make a difference, but it's not required for the example shown. The examples where it matters are 1) Linear pathing you can make the last board go as low as 3 (dropping 4th board to 3 can be done just by changing attachment order, so no gain). 2) If you have a split path at the end (3 splits to 4 and 5) you can also make either 4 or 5 be 3. edt: I have not verified the two cases I listed as useful, but conceptually they're the only two cases where you couldn't reposition or reorder boards and get the same result without the glitch.

As soon as you do this and get use to it; a patch comes out and you have to respec all over again.

Question. I notice a lot of people have sapping as their 5th board, but they are also high enough paragon to do that comfortably. Is it really beneficial to go in this order if you are at a lower paragon lvl? I ask because at P199, i am able to just get enough points to have my 5th glyph and thats it. If i didnt have sapping in my build already, i honestly dont think i would have enough resources and other stats to run the build comfortably.

maybe some use for low paragon, when we can access all paragon board u just attact 3. board early. i dont see any benefit for endgame

Cool trick :) though technically not a bug, since it still has incremental costs for each board. but does help with pathing more efficiently. thanks for sharing.
