Damn, seeing Jade as "kind" isn't exactly what I thought. This woman started by reprimanding Kakavasha for killing the man that enslaved him, told him his name, the blessed name given by his family, was destined to be buried in the sand, and yes, she gave him money, but that meant he stopped be a slave of some guy and became a slave to the IPC, who sent him on a suicidal mission in Penacony. IPC was also one of the causes for the genocide of the Avgin and it seems Aventurine was sold to his "master" by the men in black aka, IPC soldiers. All that context makes his life even more terrifying in retrospective. That's also why he's friends with Ratio. Aventurine says it himself in his dialogue in the data bank - Dr. Ratio doesn't like the IPC, even if the IPC is the one funding the Intelligentsia Guild. It's very likely the reason he chose to join the IPC is to get revenge from the inside. Edit: added a missing "more".

1:31:30 It feels short because it is the nerfed version. His nerf caused some controversy in the community because it happened just a few days after the release and was applied a boss that could be considered complex, but not necessarily strong.

Fun fact: Aventurine boss was actually nerfed 😅 he was kinda... strong before (it took me 5 times to do it before his nerf, now I can fight him easily) 😂 Firefly being Sam actually make sense, if we paid to little details 😊
