heyyyyy lovelies, in this video I will be sharing with you how I used a new washi tape in Resin but also how I discovered a technique that totally elevates the results. I was really trying to find a technique that didn't give me the same results I got in the past.

You should also be able to spray them with a clear acrylic sealer to hide the edges instead of the UV resin. I do that with printable stickers.

I bet the higher temp of a thicker layer of UV resin is what got it on the first one. The ones with the thin coat first ARE perfection!!!

Geesh.. such a simple thing to do for such stunning results!! No, I didn't know this and I'm so glad you showed this! I just got a roll of jeweled jewelry pet tape and my first 2 came out with the lines visible. Hurrah for a fix! I hadn't seen resin done before, beautiful result! When I overlap stickers with a colored border, I trim the overlapped portin of the sticker border. It works to make the stickers join seamlessly. Great when collating, too. Your enthusiasm is infectious! Thank you.

Hi Claire great video, im a plant lover 16 plants in my livingroom 😂 and 5 in bedroom, 4 in the kitchen, my favourite is my monstera and rubber plant, most proud of is my orchid iv kept alive for over a year and a half and its flowered twice 🥰 you should try getting a devils ivy very easy to keep, iv just planted my seeds for my garden cant wait for all the flowers 😍, bulbs will plant next weekend 😊, love the tip about the stickers i never knew that thanks , thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxxx

This is a great tip. I can’t help thinking though, that rubbing the resin onto the image is simply burnishing the sticker down and getting rid of any air that’s under it. It’s not actually an issue though, since it works so well. Can’t wait to see the PET ones, because I’ve got a lot of those

@ClairesCraftyCorner May I make a recommendation? When working with the UV resin, flip it and keep tapping until you get a steady flow of resin without bubbles. Then DO NOT FLIP IT AND SET IT DOWN again. Keep it facing down and just set it aside in something heavy enough that won’t tip over. Maybe an old coffee cup you don’t plan to drink from again. You won’t have any bubbles at all and won’t need to use the lighter. For larger projects you may run out of air and need to flip it. If you must, just be sure to tap tap tap tap tap again… You get the picture 😊
