THIS CLEANING WAS.....EXTREME!  

I was a nurse for 19 years & all I can say is no, nope, & no way! You are a tough gal, Coline! And a blessing to the homeowner.

Wow! You did a terrific job! I am a little nauseated just thinking about what that must have smelled like. I can't believe he went that long without getting his wound taken care of. That's really sad! 😢 What a gift you are to clean that up so that he can return home. There aren't very many people who would touch something like that. I'm sorry it hurt your back, but it was super satisfying to hear those scraping and scrubbing sounds and to see the foaming of the hydrogen peroxide. Well done! ❤ I hope you got some ice cream to celebrate finishing that cleaning! My favorite flavor is bubblegum, and it's pretty hard to find anymore.

I’m surprised there wasn’t a company contacted to remove the biohazards. The concrete floors should have been sealed after disinfecting, and the wooden thresholds removed. Insurance pays for it. You also need shoe covers which you can get at medical supply stores. Great job!

I am glad he is getting better. I am glad he didn’t lose his leg. He will need wound care and dressing changes after he is home. I hope he is able to get that so he doesn’t have a problem with his leg again. Sending well wishes to him and hope for a speedy recovery.

I watch a lot of these videos: mouse droppings, bugs, rotten food, stacks of used adult diaper, etc., but I have to say this is the first one that actually made me queasy. The thought of the wound drainage was too much. My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip, no wait, it’s butter pecan, no wait, it’s salted caramel. Oh gosh I can’t decide.

In the 80's or 90's there used to be Tutti Fruitti flavour, I haven't seen it around for decades

Good job Coline🎉...one Hack for you: cleaning in the toilet and also in the cistern I use denture cleaner Tabs from the drugstore. Put it in (2 -3. At a time) and let it sit....it will do much Work for you and it does not smell as bad as clorine😊

Yikes! Poor guy...so fortunate someone found and helped him.A thought, wear eye protection when you are down scrubbing like that. That exudate can easily become aerosolized and the eyes can become a portal. Take care❤

Brave girl you are and that was brilliant using peroxide on those bodily stains. Sorry you had to deal with all that but like my mom used to always say, this too shall pass and it will shine again and you can bask in the glory that it was YOU that accomplished such a fabulous job. This might actually be the most extreme cleaning I’ve seen. I’ve watched so many hoards, mouse droppings, infestations… but never have I seen a cleaning after an open wound. You are so amazing. Take care of yourself. ❤

Coline, that was definitely extra! I like more than one "ice cream" flavor: licorice, bubble gum, coconut pineapple, cotton candy, chocolate chip, birthday cake, cherry, daiquiri ice, butter pecan, rainbow sherbet and lemon sherbet. I believe that's all of them. 😁

Oh man, thank you for helping this man. What a job. We live in Los Angeles, but have family in the Netherlands. We just came from there, visiting family in the Utrecht area. Utrecht, Ijsselstein, Neimeijen (?). My favorite ice cream flavor is Jamocha Almond Fudge, which is a coffee ice cream with ribbons of fudge and chocolate covered almonds in it. Delicious!

Oh my, poor man. To be dragging around such a serious wound on his leg for such a long time is scary (most of my family works in healthcare. It's not uncommon to see or hear of such things here in the USA since not everyone has access to quality, affordable healthcare in my country, often with equally grisly results). I hope he gets better and can return home soon. You've taken care of one major hurdle on that matter. PS-my favorite ice cream flavors are anything with cheesecake chunks, or chocolate brownie chunk ice cream. The frozen texture of the cake goes perfectly with the ice cream!

Gangrene has a very distinctive smell which is rotting flesh. He is very lucky he didnt get sepsis and die! You did a wonderful job but the wound exudate would be everywhere, on those chairs, his bed... It is horrible just to think about it. I would want to throw the lot out! You are amazing to volunteer to do such an unpleasant job. I really hope Adam fully recovers and gets the help he needs. By the way, was the tv or the radio on in the background? Sounded like voices. My favourite ice-cream is toffee or caramel.

You did a wonderful job! For weight loss and maintaining the desired weight... I have many years successfully done the 'skip dinner' method. Meaning: no eating and no snacking after six o'clock in the evening. Herbal tea is ok. But that also means that I must go to bed early (before I get hungry again)! Otherwise I eat normally, no fancy diets. And my favorite ice cream is pistachio.

Here in Missouri, USA, we have an ice cream called “Moose Tracks” it’s vanilla ice cream with fudge ripples and teeny weeny Reese’s peanut butter cups throughout. My favorite is Ben and Jerry’s “Cherry Garcia”

As a nurse, I encountered this rotting flesh smell quite frequently because bedsores and some post surgical wounds end up this way. I'm surprised he didn't get sepsis waiting so long! Your eyes should have been covered because of splashing. Actually if you watch Clean with Barbie...she has the perfect mask for this type of work. It looks like a gas mask. I wouldn't have cleaned this because of taking germs home to my family. I used to have to air spray the halls next to a person with wound exudate. In the rooms we had electric ionizers (I think) that would sanitize the air. We still gowned up, wore feet protection, gloves and masks and tossed them out in a biohazard receptacle outside the room. I can't even think about ice cream after seeing this video 🤢🤮

I love chocolate ice cream. You did a great job on this one. I love your videos. You can of course lose weight if you want to but in my opinion you do not need to lose any. I have a tip for you. When you first enter a home put 3 denture cleaning tablets in the toilet. Do the rest of the house and then clean the toilet. It will make it a lot easier to do.

I was both a critical care nurse and a wound care nurse, and this made me nauseous. So glad you wore protection. Those pillows were beyond disgusting. And his chair! And for those who were concerned about biohazards…..the 3% hydrogen peroxide destroys organic matter. I feel for this man. I am now disabled myself and keeping my home clean is a huge challenge. I’m trying to declutter and pare down so I can hire a cleaning crew. I also want to set up a neonatal kitten room in my spare bedroom to foster baby kittens or pregnant kittens. Your cleaning is a huge blessing to those who can no longer do it. I cared for my brother when he was terminal. He had horrid wounds on his legs. I kept them contained by wrapping disposable diapers to absorb all the fluid. We had to do this because there isn’t a dressing thick enough to absorb what was coming out. His wound care nurses even started doing this as well. Today is the fifth anniversary of his death. This is so sad, that someone could have such extreme wounds and no help was available and no one knew his condition. For future cleaning, try Odo Ban. It is a mild scent and can be diluted to different disinfection needs. It is used in many hospitals for disinfection because it doesn’t have a strong odor but does a great job removing odors and disinfecting. Also, keep face masks and peppermint oil in your kit. Put a drop or two in the mask and wear it. This is a trick I used when dealing with foul smelling wound situations. We also put it on gauze pads and left it in a couple of spots in rooms where patients had foul wounds. It helps cut the odor.

I love Häagen-Dazs. I always thought it was a Dutch brand, but it's actually American. I love their coffee ice cream, and also the chocolate and peanut butter ❤️. I do buy the tiny ice creams by them because I tend to eat just a little that way....but the little ones are pricey. I do the same with soda, I only buy the tiny cans. Quite the job there 😮.
