This is Julien from the end of the video. Thanks for having me on Sunday Sends, it was great to meet you! I came back to the Refuge rested before I flew home on Saturday, and properly sent some harder climbs. To follow up on the food, I did eat some burgers, but also tacos. No paddle, as Freemont Street is such an assault on your senses that the Heart Attack Grill was shut by the time we got there. Some people from my conference decided we have to go to Hofbräuhaus after all, and it did not disappoint, it was even worse than I expected! I will keep watching your videos, and I hope to be back some day.
So funny this popped up in my recommended because I recently went to The Refuge for the first time when I was in Las Vegas for business a couple weeks ago! I even recognize some of the problems I worked on still on the walls. I've only ever climbed at Touchstone gyms in LA (like Cliffs of Id which was mentioned) since I started at the beginning of this year and man your guys grading felt so stiff in comparison. I can send V5s and flash the majority of V4 at Touchstone but really struggled on a lot of the red tags (V3/V4) and even purple tags (V2/V3) at The Refuge. Humbled me real quick! It was a great challenge though and hope to visit again. That said, such a chill video and fun concept - really enjoyed!
Thanks so much for the comment! Our setting definitely gets some getting used to, but we have so many crushers at The Refuge. Hope to see you back soon!
Gonna have to start showing up on some Sundays so I can send one and make an episode! Good climbing all around and it's cool to start seeing some familiar faces in these

What a great community oriented video! You guys have an amazing crew there at the Refuge. Cool to see @betaboibrandon in the video too… hopefully he’ll publish another video soon 👍🏻👍🏻
