Honestly... a majority of dark skin people are not going to by a dewy foundation. It just wont sell. So I agree with THIS shade selection. It's just not smart.
I agree , right down to the colors too . Why spend money on colors that are for summer when fall colors are coming in . Makes no sense. I don't want to smell berries and have pinks , I want pumpkins and orange shades .

Jordy Ironstar the packaging feels like summer but the products have a fall color vibe to me. Also people with dry skin will probably love the dewey finish during the colder months when their skin is more dry.

I found your channel because I'm doing research on what type of foundation I need to use for my combination skin. I've watched soooooo many tutorials and reviews it ain't it even funny BUT-- with that being said, I've learned a lot. I still don't know if the foundation matters as much as the proper moisturizer and primer, so I'm still trying to figure it out. Anyway, love your channel! I have combo skin and so far the only thing that works for me is the Maybelline fit me in the dewy finish. It’s in the red label. But it does have to be set with translucent powder.

Too Faced stays playing though. They get help from Jackie to include more shades in their Born This Way foundation but then go back to neglecting POC for this Dew You foundation. Makes me really question if they're actually here for shade inclusivity or just pandering to the commonly-excluded POC and cashing in on the inclusion trend. If Too Faced is really here for us, they better keep that same energy when it comes to shade ranges.
Janelle Rae i think they called out to her because BTW foundation has been selling really well the last /two three years...they waited to be sure the foundation had a good reputation. Personally I never found my shade because their shades are too yellow for me, but I don’t care. However I am actually pissed of for all these brands and persons acknowledging POC ONLY when they can benefit from it. Believe it or not, but my white ass face always stood up for POC.

Green is my favorite. Play with different tones, textures, opacities, and combinations! See what works for you. I'm sure there's something you could pull off.
I treated myself to the pink lemonade highlighter drops and since I don't wear makeup a whole lot and wouldn't use them all before they go bad, my daughter and I use them to "be fairies" and that's about all the use they'll get. Glad Auntie Jackie felt the same way as me when I bought them!

True! And then they try to defend themselves... like how? Like how tarte said that they would release the darker shades later. Why? Why are the men and women with deeper shades disregsrded? Why are they an after thought? And the fact that there are people that find no problem in this whatsoever.
Because of sales. The bottom line is companies don’t think deeper skin colors will sell. Times are changing and companies are being shamed if they don’t produce. Every company needs to have diversity in their work place and products them sell.
They are multi million dollar companies believe me they know what their doing but the truth is that because of a lot of different reasons usually (not always but usually) deep dark skin people don't have as much money as super white people it sucks but that's the reality we live in

Too Faced is forever struggling with their shade range on both sides of the spectrum! Somebody get them some milk 🥛 You would think they would have taken notes from the colab you did with them?! I’m not able to use any of their foundations since they turn me into a literal Cheeto. Nevertheless, loved this video as always. & those glasses! Adore 💖 xoxo
I adore green eye shadow and think it looks good on everyone. It's all about finding your right shade of green. I'm glad to be seeing it being used more often lately.

People not liking green shadow offends me tbh 😂. Thank you for repping those of us that like working with green on our eyes. Green is a beautiful color dammit, no palettes ever have them anymore. If I want my green eyes to look ethereal af, having a bit of green on the lid does that.

I'm into this. My skin is way way to dry for Matte foundations. There's an over abundance of matte foundations on the market all ready. It's RARE to find full coverage dewy foundations.

I work at Ulta and I’ve been playing with this collection since it launched but the foundation dries down to like a soft matte to me but it’s so nice to see you slay it as always!! The setting spray stole the show for me though!
