Had a thought watching this game, in comps when you’re infinite (or close) I struggle with time management a lot, do you ever preemptively aim for scaling units like for reaper/ sin’dori vs slow combats like beasts/ undead also for the reason to speed up the combat and get more turn time? Obviously these units have other way bigger benefits lol but I sometimes get into a spot where I’m concerned about dying/ too late to scale a unit like this, so I end up with 30s in my turn for infinite gold and lose. Is there ever an argument also for leaning non infinite comps like catacomb in these lobbies bc being infinite sucks anyway when you have 30s? Sorry this is kinda a long question 🙈
yeah u can settle for a top 4 spot but to really win you have to sometimes risk it yk. recently i had the perfect setup for murkeye+gem smuggler but i just couldnt find the murkeye for like 3 rounds and the only thing that kept me from dying in these 3 rounds was 1. luck 2. playing against a dead guy. i knew i couldve just gone for something else and get top 3/4 or risk it all and win. luckily i found murkeye and won but you get the point
Sometimes the right play seems so bad it's impossible to do. Like, here where he just levels to 4 it seems really unreasonable but it worked out and if he didn't he's probably losing anyway. But then in another lobby doing that makes you take 30 damage and you die before you can stabilize.
Anyone else watch Kripp and get really annoyed how he would buy Brann regardless of what's going on and die? Shady reminds me of that... would like to see a VOD with no brann for a change
To be fair, it’s largely cuz Brann enables the builds that make the best content and - as RU-vidrs and streamers - it’s kinda necessary they make said content.
