I do something similar u gotta put foundation lightly over it then it will look natural the truck is to not make it look dark some ppl use light contour not the one for cheekbones
The model has a round face, so it works for her to extend her chin. For you, you have an oval face, and that way your chin looked longer than it naturally is. Just a reply to your question.
And if anyone's doing the chin part that far down with that longer chin, it's gonna be weird. So go with left overs or lightly contour that part. I suggest going under your chin to prevent it looking too stretched, regardless of how you contour your cheeks
People need to realize that contouring should be individual to each person's face. What works for one person won't look the same on someone else. I would suggest people get Way Bandy book in contouring. He was the originator of these techniques for the most part. You could also get Kevin Aucoins books. He was Bandys protege, He wasn't just another famous MUA.
Omg i was thinking, "Wait....no....Kevin Aucoin was...." Lol then i read the rest! I had no idea! I have one good Aucoin book. It's Big! Must look into Way Bandy now. Thank you much! 💗💗💗
I feel like this technique only works if you have a baby face though. The way she normally contours looks so perfect for her face, it sculpts and brings out her natural bone structure, the new technique kind of aged her but that’s because she has a more structured face naturally not so much a baby face
When you pause to compare the difference, the new technique legitimately gives the illusion of a double chin on you where there isn't one on the other side with your normal technique. It makes it look like the "sucked in" part you mention is holding back face fat, sort of like a corset would, like the front is tight but the back is bulging. It's not a good technique for your face. You're really talented and pretty though! Thanks for sharing! ❤ It's obviously an affective technique that surely works for some faces.
You have a naturally long face so this ages you a lot and makes you look sickly. The model has a round face so since she lacks any facial definition the way she contoured mimics what you have naturally. When you have softer features, you can get away with doing harsher techniques and vice versa.
This contour technique basically makes your face look more mature like you don’t have any collagen in your skin anymore. Those features look good if you have them naturally but when you emulate those features with colors it looks weird.
I agree. Plus, this is best suited for round face shapes, so if you don’t naturally have a snatched looking face or round face this technique is more than likely not going to work.
I definitely see a difference! Personally, I think your face look better on the less contoured side. However, this is a great technique for us woman who could use some slimming in the face.
@@stephlon6757 The different placement of makeup really isn't a good look. I hope she realizes and doesn't continue using it. Haha, I wasn't being rude, she wanted our honest opinion ☺️ Ps: I read similar comments as mine. If I were her I'd def want honesty, not fake compliments. Have a beautiful day 🌺
Actually a baby face is the most youthful and feminine face! and we don't age a lot as we get older, compared to people with more angular masculine faces, who look old, gaunt and wrinkly well before their time!😏
I've been doing my contour like this for a few months. I don't have that exact brush or product. But I do use Seint Beauty and one of their brushes and just bring it down. Love it
Can you please do your eye makeup in this video as a tutorial?? I'm inexperienced with liquid eyeliner and yours is gorgeous here. So are your lashes!! Products used would be appreciated, too!! Tysm!! ❤❤
On camera its stunning so it might look good if u keep doing it in ur videos but irl, itll look heavy and unnatural. But some people prefer looking heavy makeup and unnatural so do you
2:55 ❗️❗️❗️❤ *u are 100 here man. I was a drug addict for 17 years* and the *ONLY* thing that worked was inpatient therapy.I did 58 days. Been clean ever since and life is 80 squillion times better than ever.
I think you look beautiful either way❤and look snatched snd perfect just how you are girly, don‘t get too caught up in looking perfect or as snatched as possible. ❤ and do contor to what you see fit
I think with the new technique, the long line it's created down the side of your lower face makes it look like you have sagging jowls. I look like that naturally and I'm trying to find a way to contour myself out of it :D
I was wondering if the shade of the line that goes down needs to be diffused more , so the line doesn’t show and just the shade gives the ilusión or longer the face. I’m having a hard time to do the contour in my face. My face is kind of round and I figure I will benefit frm this kind of tricks but I’m not quite satisfied the way it shows since my skin color is tan n I need the right color of contour, I guess.
I think it looks like you have a huge wrinkle on the “hack” side and not way more sucked in. I’d stick to how you normally do but if you want more lift do it higher and don’t go as far in
No. The reason people are asking is because certain makeup techniques like this look great in photos, but irl can look unnatural even if the contour is blended properly. It’s not that hard to understand why people are skeptical. Especially because this is a technique what suited for round face shapes. The lady in the video has an oval face shape, so this technique isn’t suited for her. Yes, she looked snatched, but if you look closely this technique makes her look like her face is sunken in and sickly compared to her normal contour which makes her look youthful and naturally contoured.
@@tiahnarodriguez3809 Yeah....Im just not very good at figuring it out I guess....I think I should try her regular type of contouring side method to try get more baby face in. Maybe that would work.
Please post product links for your video. It’s frustrating watching the technique without using the same products. I rather search for videos that make it easier for us.
If you want that side snatched perhaps take that last line slightly up or to the side & lift. Having something go downward is going to take that side of the face down & look slightly drooped.
Homegirl in original stitched video already looks golden with makeup done to perfection- so why in the world is she contouring (or "re-counting" from the looks of it!)
From what I remember in the original video she has more of a round face and I think that’s why she contours like this because contouring and blush is kind of based on your face shape
Certain women with certain faces or ages actually can’t do this look. I know you think you like it but, you’re not wanting tiger stripes on your face as certain techniques make the mouth turned down. The goal is to lift & contour not overdo. Dominique Sachse a former anchor woman has a video on her channel that tells you why better.
The way her face looks after the contour is the way my face naturally looks, and I always thought it was really ugly. It makes me happy that apparently girls want their face to look like that.
Ohh my gosh this is million dollars hack still do a detailed tutorial on this also wanna say one thing that this already has that sculpted cheeks anyways I mean she doesn't have baby face type atleast. But this technique just enhanced it
I am by no means a gatekeeper, but I really wish people would learn how and why certain techniques are used. Get sick of tiktok stealing any and everyone’s makeup techniques, where is the creativity or originality - everyone looks exactly the same now and It’s tired.
