Why the hell does a prison inmate have access to a cell phone and internet in the first place? That's some bullshit taxpayers should not be paying for.

Exactly if you’re in prison you shouldn’t have any access to the internet period… I’ve got family in prison that I love and would do anything to help them… but they committed the crime and they should have to pay their dues…
@@Wootangtwfirst of all, not everybody deserves to go to prison. But county jails are way overcrowded and you cannot do long-term in county jail. You should be a little more understanding towards your own relatives and not wish such bad things on them. I did a little prison time in my younger days for doing stupid shit, drugs. I did my time and my family never abandon me. No my family does not do drugs and never has. But they stuck by me through thick and thin. Even though our family is a bit dysfunctional I would not trade them for the world. I hope you can build a better relationship with your family. Prison is not for everybody. Sometimes you in there because county jails are just too over loaded or the judge was a bitch. Good luck and have a great day

I hope your son does well when he gets out and hopefully never returns to prison. It's a crazy place to be. I'm glad I'm older now and I will never ever go back. And I'm glad I don't do this stupid shit I did in the past. Prison is a lot different than it was when I was in there. Younger inmates with nothing to lose and they all seem to want to join a click. Not me. I stayed to myself so I could get out when I was supposed to. Keep your son close to your heart. You probably did the right thing.
You probably shouldn't speak on something you know nothing about.. Cell phones has been getting smuggled into prisons for years, alot of prison guards fired for it as well
My kid is in jail right now and they give him a computer tablet to communicate with the outside world, it cost quite a bit use i'm sure not the one paying for it.

No Lamont you can not say that all criminal's are a product of their upbringing. Two kids, both raised identically, one criminal activity, one with a degree and 6 figures a year. Sorry, I just hate that statement. Stay safe.

Interesting, I know how prisoners can get social media, which I believe is not really allowed, but if the prison finds out I would think those social media accounts would be shut down.

My son did 14 months in minimal security. They were not allowed cellphones and no access to a computer. In NC it's a felony to be found with a cellphone. My son was in for selling narcotics. Thankfully when he was released in December of 17 he remained clean ❤ #WeCanRecover
A friend of mine is in county jail for DUI she didn't hurt anybody just got pulled over this wasn't her first time so they put her in jail for a year she said that when she went into the jail they gave her a tablet
ANY prison guard caught bringing cell phones into prison should get the same amount of time as the inmate who received the phone . It's absolutely despicable. I'm tired of hearing guards say stuff like .. " i was threatened " so i brought the phones in . Inmate threatens my family , i would tell them , good luck making threats from solitary. Because that is where you would go if i were a warden . Inmates these days have it way too easy !
You can't say that because some of these kids / young adults. that are in jail now came from good family's its the person at the end of the day it comes down to choices .

Let me break this down. Cell phones are throughout the prison. Correctional officers sells them for 2000 dollars some 1500. They keep the phone and when they do a raid the officers confiscate the phones and sell them to someone else. Those phones are in rotation.

When prisoners get out of prison, most go right back to crime, especially if they go back to the same people before they get arrested. So many people are anti police and always protecting the criminals. Why don't they come out with some kind of work like a factory to give those people employment and some income and a place to stay until they're ready to go on their own, right now when they're release they have no place or money so they're only thing available is old criminal friends or go hurt more inosent people, we always see Hollywood actors and artists blaming the system but they never do anything to help they just attack the police and complain about racism.

I agree 100% of your comments on the flower thing, but at some point in everyone's life, we're 100% responsible for our actions, good or bad ,i have a relative that's a total messed up 40 years old that has always been a parasite always looking for someone to support her and never have any responsibility and when asked she says its my parents that give me too much freedom when growing up and never told me the word NO ,at 40 years old anyone still blaming the parents it's a total looser.
Lamont your a great person but you shouldn't be giving these sort of people (creatures) the time of day period, i don't think you should be putting these sort of people on the map and giving them a chance to make their prison sentence any easier than it is, all you have done is pushed more traffic his way and for him to make some money which will eventually make his time easy and i don't feel it should be like that, and the people who live in the states should report his ONLY FANS to the prison and whatever it company is made from, and have it closed down, just imagine what his victims family feel his not in there for shop lifting or some misdemeanor his in there for murder, his took someones life.
