And that’s the reason why I always return to base after scoring (when u secure rayquaza). Once u have a huge lead, u need to return to base & defend, stop scoring anymore.
This was a great example of a Gengar match, everything that could possibly happen but still not a bad game bc of it, still feels a little nerfed defensively but you can kinda see why loL
@@shinymegagardevoiras far as I know the scoring "stat" is about how good a pokémon is at scoring and then surviving alive. Speedsters can get out safely thus the stat determined by devs.
Another good example of why not to depend on your own teammates to do something as basic as defending your goals. Nothing more painful than losing a match you were clearly winning just because someone decided to walk away from the goal for no reason.
Thank you for all this quality, informative vids cris. I haven't really been too optimistic after some of the patches but thanks to some of your vids I've gotten a bit better with each of my favorites. My top 5 being Duraludon, urshifu, dragapult, umbreon and A-9. Also this video is justification for why I target Gengar first at team fights😅
it doesn't matter, switch made it so you can adjust the move sensitivity, so you can basically make it so you can aim it from one direction to another direction faster on switch@@sjsjsdjdjdk3646
@@RufflesOnCokedream eater is really good but you have to spend some time standing back and throwing shadow balls, then when they’re at half dream eater and sweep
This may not matter but I’m going to say it anyways when I play with gengar Center I choose lick first to jump over the wall with a boosted attack after so I don’t have to sit and basic attack in the beginning
14/12 with hoopa being the only one even close and still losing after a big trip AND raqu kill AND a fat 100 goal top AND a kill on their base goal. "huh?" Shout-out all the 2023 Gengar mains feeling that deep in their soul.
I'm trying out new Pokémons instead of playing every match with Glaceon(too good), it got boring, I just tried out Zeraora, really fun gameplay, time to try Gengar, heard he's really good too.
Used to think emblems are cool but not anymore. Black emblems and emblems in general should only be allowed in quick and standard mode. Running into umbreons, mewtwos, a9's and otehr mons with ccc with cooldown emblem setups just ain't fun. Yeah 4-5 seecond meanlook, 3 second future sights and 3-5 second blizzard combos are totally fair and fun to fight against. Tried playing Zoroark yesterday and wwas completely miserable. Only fun speedster right now to play is leafeon and Zeraora as they can avoid being CC'd fairly easily. People think after mewtwo gets nerfed game will be better but they forget about all the CC setups, A9, Blaziken coming who got mewtwo buffed, Water Bear, Zacian, Leafeon, Dodrio, A9, Comfey, Eldegod, Blissey, Slowbro, Lapras, trevenant, Inteleon and Umbreon all making the game worse by being broken and existing.
Drill peck CC says otherwise. Time one drill peck and you did your job. I fail to see how that is hard. Although i do sort of agree Dodrio is less painful to fight against than the other mons mentioned. Drill peck still needs nerfs though.@@shreeanshmahapatra2313
When i say less painful i mean slightly but i have a better time fighting zacians usually but thats probably because a lot of zacians suck. I will always mention Dodrio regardless cause it has a broken CC move end of story. Drill peck does mad damage and cc's. if you mention full heal slow smoke and cc shuts it down full heal will not help in the long run against the enemy team as dodrio might have an A9 backup, Slow smoke is using a slot that could have eject instead and not every mon wants a slow smoke as its not good on every mon anymore, and cc countering cc is not a counter to cc or the win you or others might think it is. Now if you understand all this i have mad respect.@@shreeanshmahapatra2313
If you win ray, score the 100 points and then go back to ambush whenever they come, and I assure you, this throws wouldn't happen. I always get nervous when my team tryhard in their base when there's still 1 minute left. That's how a secure win can turn into a shameful loss. Sorry for that, it's annoying when it happens
you know the most stupid thing about this game is the teammates are so garbage headed that they take the fight outside the goal zone like stay in the tower and keep poking them and dont let them score I mean if they were all rounders or defenders then its ok chase them and kill but if you are a squishy then why would you try to act like a tank and take them head on outside the scorezone
Exactly the Mewtwo overcommited in the end and got destroyed. The garde was just a trash player like pretty much every single person who plays attacker
Yes that is Gengar play style you need to be good so you can actually play him because you need skill to play Gengar that's why he is in the bottom tier because no one in this game want to play a pokemon that require skill
Hex Gengar is actually better than Dream Eater especially when it comes to killing tanks and other mons even in their goal zone. Its just that now its much harder to do so due to how OP both Mewtwos are. When they get nerfed, I may try Hex Gengar again but Gengar on its own is not as good as it used to be anyway and that's why I refrain from using Gengar much tbh.
Hexgar can just solo Mewtwo bro is easy but you need to not miss your Hex or not you are dead and you need to avoid the stun because if you get stun and you are using your moves it Will be cancel
@@rasyawahyu4283 so you want to say that most players are not skilled enough to play gengar, every Pokemon have advantages and disadvantages this is definitely not the reason for him not being in meta
