I have seen gaskets sink in to heads like that in the past and the head is soft in those areas. hard everywhere else but around the combustion chamber were soft.

Just in case , you need to put sealant on the liner where it sits in the block. Some use blue hylomar, but make sure you use something.

I'm sorry I have to strongly disagree with you. Cometic MLS head gaskets out perform Victor reins by a land slide especially when it's a performance application period. The Victor's are just cheaper

You say normally aspirated I'm sure it should be naturally aspirated? I know probably tomartoes tomateoes 🍅 😂

Please forgive me if this has been asked before,the cut outs for the valves where the piston wall is so thin will it not naturally cause a hot spot being so thin and eventually start to melt?
