I hope the final season of Superman and Lois has a good enough budget to do the show justice and end on a high note. They deserve it. For my money, Tyler Hoechlin has been the best Superman since Reeve, and I think his portrayal has been a real gift to any Superman fans that haven't been happy with the films of the past almost 20 years.

Tyler as the best Superman since Reeves? 😂😂😂 He's comparable to Dean Cain only. The only versions of Superman comparable with Reeves are from Brendan and Cavill. Just cuz Tyler played supes in a series doesn't mean he was an accurate representation. He was too tiny and his suit was horrendous with extra padding to make him look big, which ended up with his head looking smaller lol

Regarding the tarp at the Atlanta set, sometimes productions will blackout windows to shoot night scenes during the day. This is called “day-for-night”. I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this! But they could be blacking out all those large windows because the scene takes place at night!

Welcome back! Hope you had a good time and thanks for sharing all those cool pics of Rome! I know a lot of people want Antony Starr as a villain in the DCU, but I don't know how interesting that would be. He's already playing one of the most deranged villains we've ever seen in live action. Anything less probably wouldn't be much of a challenge, or a novelty. The more interesting casting is to have him play a hero, especially a flawed one that would allow him to show some nuance. If he can show us his nastiest side in The Boys and then turn around and make us admire his character in spite of his flaws, like with the Booster Gold example, then he's really stretched his acting muscles and explored a different kind of role.

Loved Scott Snyders comments on visiting the Superman set loved his run on Batman in the New 52 and Superman: Unchained one of the few good New 52 Superman stories with amazing Jim Lee artwork. I trust James Gunn will give us a great DC Universe with the DCU and I think some need to let him cook and be patient with this new universe of DC in live action. My guess is Gunn or the studio is trying to establish early that they want the same sort of tight lip policy going forward that Disney Marvel have traditionally maintained. Even if there wasn’t much revealed in the article, it’s probably worth it to them to gently lock it down just to make an example.

Deconstruction is something I love in stories, Snyder doesn’t do that. His fans just use that word to defend him without understanding what it means

Epic prediction - The batman universe (Robert Pattinson) will be integrated into the DCU, if the DCU batman is not new ( with the bat family established) and we have Robert Pattinson just getting established as batman, isn't that the DCU batman already by the time they get to shoot? Idk, DC’s approach to Batman reminds me of the comics…you can have Detective Comics and a Batman run at the same time. While also being able to have your black label no canon material like sandman or Batman/catwoman

I would like it, but I seriously doubt it. I believe James Gunn has explicitly said otherwise.
