RIP STEVE LAWRENCE.

What I like best about this song was the reference to the locations that were visited. Dining for lunch at the 21 club, going to Sardis, and on the beach at Malibu, and watching the Sun come up. All the part of the prelude to a romance that could be the start of something big! And then you want to be where he is or where she is which is really so beautiful in the early stages of any romance/relationship that’s meant to be! And hopefully continues throughout the lifetime of that lucky couple! ❤❤

Fantastic performance and Wonderful People! Uplifting and lovely. We need to CANCEL out most modern "music" in favor of Real Nice People performing Good Music that is suitable for all ages and does not harm anyone.

That's the way these two giants should be remembered, and on top of that the composer of the song is playing (or trying to play 😂) congas !!!

Class Class Class. They exuded it. And I mean , easily exuded it. I had the pleasure of knowing Steves father. Cantor, Max Liebowitz, whose mirror blue eyes rivaled any I've ever seen. And his brother Bernie who was just as nice.

Enjoying this video. Saw the story of Steve & Edie on PBS. Wonderful show of these two talented people. They seemed like such a loving couple. You just don't get that kind of talent these days. Bravo to them.

Eydie and Steve Allen were born in my mom's decade. I was lucky enough to watch this couple on Tv when I was a kid in the 60s. So many talented people in the era that I grew up in.
