Australian here! Just wanted to explain that we call it caramel slice here but in the UK they call it Millionaire’s Shortbread. I wasn’t a big fan of the Curtis Stone chocolate as I think a real caramel slice is better.
Thank you for my box!!! Of what I've tried I'm so hooked on the roast beef Monster Munch. Mmmmmmm! 😋 I like the crunch and it tasted as if I was eating roast beef. The flavor was just right. I love how they melt in my mouth. I'll tell you how the rest is after I've tried them. Thanks again, Kate and Alex! ❤️
So happy to have finally subscribed to the British Candy Boxes! Hoping to will be a special taste of home for my husband each month! Love you two, you’re both so fun! 💗
Australian candy certainly has a lot of variety. It’s always interesting to see this type of content from you. We always stay in tune with more content of yours to come.
Curtis Stone and Jamie Oliver are well-known in the US. Watched both on them on TV. I love Tim Tams but haven't seen that flavor. I often find Tim Tams at Grocery Outlet (bargain market) here in California
Yes Curtis Stone is Australia’s version of Jamie Oliver. I actually found it really amusing that you didn’t know who he was because I just assume that he was known in England as well!
Kate, your reactions are just too adorable and funny. You're such a wonderful role model and a big sister to me. I'm trying to obtain German, Japanese, Swedish, and Brazilian snacks, but I don't know where to start.
Curtis Stone is one of my favorite Celebrity Chefs. He’s really popular in the US. He has a Michelin Star restaurant in Hollywood, California that I’d love to visit sometime
Pringles tins are the same here too. They are getting smaller but the price is getting bigger. They never fill it to the top anymore so they all get broken. When they first came out they would advertise that they weren't broken because of the tin. The chip is half the size it use to be too.
Curtis Stone owns and operates, among others, Maude......a Michelin star restaurant in the US and of course he is very famous and popular here in Australia.
Curtis Stone is a semi-well known chef in USA. I think he’s been on a few cooking shows here, although maybe was better known about 10 years ago vs now.
They used to have Time Out in Australia but they got rid of it and introduced Breakaway instead. The milk choc one is delicious and they also have a dark chocolate version which isn't as sweet
Always enjoy your videos. I'm a big fan of Curtis Stone. He's considered a master chef. I've seen him in many cooking competition shows and all over food network and the cooking channel in the US. I'm guessing he's even bigger in Australia
The Snickers brownie bar was an unexpected delight to me. I tried it on a whim and was considerably better than I expected. At least better than other not-freshly-packed brownie items (e.g. Little Debbie (Downer))!
I'm from Australia and with timtams now there just going over the top with these sickly new terrible flavours. Why can't they leave things how they are. 🙉
Oh guys I have seen Curtis Stone on so many things lol. The Aus Cadbury vars are def a slightly different recipe to the UK choc aren't they probably due to the melt factor choc would have in their temps over there. I really fancy trying that Caramilk flav one with wafer though. Huge fan of the UK caramels. Fab review as always x
Hey there, I watched your review video about This could have been so good on RU-vid and you really have done a great job on this. I love your video style very much. We are setting up a new business on gift boxes and hope to extend our business. So, can you test the product for us? We will appreciate it and we can pay for your effort. Best Regards
Hi Kate and Alex... You are both so adorable, and so much fun to watch. Though I always crave chocolate watching your vids. Kate, you always do 5678 treat of the week, please please please give Alex a turn. You should really split it, one time you and one time Alex. Thank you so much. Have a fun evening Surie
😭 I love white chocolate, that's my dream Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers etc. And those chips look so good. Man, when my time comes, I'm going to eat everything that I was randomly robbed of due to illness.
