You done the right thing not letting her suffer cause I believe she wouldn’t of made it anyways. I pray that it’s over and none of the rest get sick. It’s to heart breaking for you all. Yous do your very best for all of them. God bless and my prayers are with yous and all the animals 🙏

I'm so sorry you're going through a rough time right now. 😞 You can only do your best. As a follower of Danielle's I watched Penny's decline and I see Willows wonky legs. Margies future was already limited. Your vet made the call and it was the right one. I hope this is an end to it and no more goats get sick.

I am sorry for your loss. It is so hard when we do everything we can but still feel like it's not enough. Really hoping you figure out what's causing it and are able to eradicate it. Sending positive energy and love your and your animal's way.

I'm usually more of a silent watcher of RU-vid videos but I actually discovered you because I was feeling defeated with my herd. I lost my first to Barberpole last week and today another one of my goats is off feed. It can feel so defeating sometimes 😢 But your videos have oddly brought me comfort in this time, as well as being informative about other conditions of goats I can look out for. I'm sorry about your goats, though. ❤

I've seen it a few times, friends have had it. We find that it comes in with your hay. Goats eat it and poop as they do and that's how it spreads. Both my friends got their hay from the same place. They lost 14 between the two of them. So bad. We treated with dex.

I dealt with this one year.had two cases, and both started after I fed chaffhaye. Lost one, saved the other. It was terrible.

Try not to feel bad for not breeding living beings that cant live their best life (not perfect but best possible) without constant oversight or intervention. I think its cruel to pass on known genes that will make a living being suffer and or be totally dependent their whole life. These calls are not easy, and keeping beings suffering longer just because we want them to survive is not a humane option in my opinion. You are compassionate and try your best to learn and grow and keep them as healthy and happy as you can. It is nice to see how much you care for these animals and you can tell they appreciate it. I am sorry they cant all be happy days on the farm but I know there will be good days ahead.

I'm praying it doesn't go through your whole herd but not letting her suffer is best for her and you. You can't put yourself in a emotional uproar for a entire week when you know what the outcome will be...... You love them enough not to do that to them.
