Right! There was one time when I went to Portugal I went to a Burger King in Lisboa 😂 I just wanted one thing that reminded me of home plus it was the only place open at the time
USD $39 dollars for a snack at McDonalds! Actually, I believe it. I have been to both Liechtenstein and Switzerland and the prices are outrageous in both places. I saved some money by buying food at supermarkets. That said, both countries are stunningly beautiful and worth seeing. (TIP: In a couple of my trips, I stayed in neighboring countries that were less expensive and took day trips to either place. Some of these countries are small so you can cover a lot in one day. Keep in mind that it is easy to get around Europe using buses, trains, etc. Also, avoid high season.)
Aaahhh but still no matter the prices... Very beautiful Liechtenstein! 🇱🇮 I have subscribed now to your channel. So interesting to see this small beautiful country of Liechtenstein. Greetings from Hemsedal, Norway 🇸🇯 we still have snow here ❄️
It is my dream to come visit lichtenstein. Its the last country in europe i havent travelled. I have even been to san marino, andorra , luxemburg , kosovo as well as konaco
Europe's only absolute monarchy???? They do have a parliament and the population could force the prince for abdication per referendum any time. And any village could also declare it's independence per referendum!
In addition to the absolute power of veto, the royal family owns 100% of the bank and other resources and industries in the country. The people do not want the family to pack up and move to Switzerland, leaving them broke and on their own. They also have a really high approval rating with their people.
For perspective, one of the cheapest restaurants in town charges $6 for a glass of tapwater. Overall, it will be about $100 for a couple, every meal with drinks.
