Even at Max Stats on the easier presets of the Tiger Woods Era, Greek Isles will decimate even the best of players and Speedrunners alike, this is a venue that truly requires you to bring your best and it is clear that the community adaptation of it in Two~K '2I and '23 makes it significantly harder because of how different the Greens function here (seriously, 'I2 and 'I4 do not have the Greens play like this at all; Phantom Breaks are rare, and many Speedrunners are punished for playing from the Red on Hole 0I3 due to Arch Perception). Now, I usually play every course of 'I2 and 'I4 on Steady Rain, which makes for a considerably easier time putting due to better determining Swing Power and also gives a focused understanding of how bad the wind will be on higher presets (especially Gale Force), Greek Isles pretty much demands that you find ways to slow down the Green and this is the only feasible method that I feel can be used; on a good day though, anything better than +020 in Stroke Play or -0I2 in Stableford is more than average, this session reminds me very much of when I first played it in 'I2 on Entry Stats (Eleven/Eleven/Ten/Sixteen) in May of last year and it was fun to remember the challenges from that first run through this experience here. Honestly think the only way to approach this course is to layup on these long par 4s and hope you have a great approach so you can make par. I don't really see another way haha brutal course!
