I can understand your sentiment. I also feel that the first two heroes should have gone down a bit harder, and how rando Yakuza dude just so happens to be in the same city as MC AND decides to randomly target MC's waifu out of EVERYONE in city said as a plot-induced contrivance. But personally, I bet that the later "heroes" might live up to expectations. Hopefully.

I agree with this idea, but I still think the remaining lives skill still applies. What I think it is is that the reincarnator was so afraid of death that he got that skill and also learned to create puppets to pretend to be him. So yeah, he still has like 99 million lives but he still fakes who he is so his REAL lives aren't in danger.

Spoiler :P She doesn't have a precognition skill, she was a phony lying about psychic powers before reincarnation and still is in her new life. Her only power is psychic manipulation or telekinesis.

The format however is near universal to all of them, you the player are given a number of points and a large amount of options to choose from to spend your points on. This is normally presented as a HUGE image, sometimes broken up into multiple pages of huge images, with smaller pictures pulled from the internet to help illustrate an option. Ideally, once a person has read through the CYOA they leave a comment about what their choices are and how they would handle the situation. I personally went around finding CYOAs that I thought were interesting and shared them with a friend, and later when going out to lunch together or something we would have discussions about our choices. There are a number of places you can find CYOAs, such as Reddit and imgur. The problem, comes in finding ones that are based on subject matters that are to your interests and that are also in what you would personally consider to be high quality. There are A LOT of them out there, some amazing, many pretty okay, and others that make you wonder just.... Why? Why would you make that? Not knowing your preferences, I do not really know which ones to recommend.

This slowly unearths certain actions, but doesn't appear to be a gang-rape cult like in that manga.
