I live in Louisiana in the United states and when we have water that looks like that we are catching Large mouth Bass and huge Catfish! When we salt water fish it's usually for Speckled Trout or Red fish or Drum which is related to the red fish plus In the deep salt water we catch yellow fin tuna or the big Blue fin tuna plus many other species! What kind of fish are in fresh water over there if you don't mind me asking? One thing I wouldn't do over there unless I was in a big boat is salt water because I want no part of your white sharks! Here we have Bull sharks and Hammer heads and tiger sharks but it's extremely rare when a white shark is spotted down here!!!
Brooksy asking if they can get closer to a massive croc and the Cranberries on the radio in the background going "what's in your head, in your head" haha classic
So sick Brooksy, my favorite type of fishing. Cheers for the vid mate, would love to see more barra/jack vids if you're into it. P.s. Pretty sure I saw Benny guiding for Paul Worsteling...
it's like fishing the bayou or the mangrove swamps in Florida except we have alligators instead of crocodiles. Greetings from Monterey California, a great town to be a fisherman.
Hey mate do you still use your spirado blackart? Nice looking rod pritty keen on getting one for some cod fishing just hard to get hand on one out the bush. We’re is the best place to pick one up fishhead ?
When he goes to release the fish back into the water and your hear his friend say, "Lot's of crocs in the water, but you can do it quickly" ... I'm thinking of how many people in history have ended up as a meal thinking they could be quicker than a crocodile. 300 million years of minimal evolution and successful survival says that mammals are not quicker.
Missed fishing shady have caught some good fish there and there always use to be those guys fishing off the barrage in like waist deep water with the resident big croc that lives there
Hey Brooks I know you're a shimano boy, but honestly look at okuma's Citrix and Komodo 300 size bait casters they crank so much drag and they're well priced
3:08 Dipping both of your hands just to release your fish in the middle of croc territory is pretty darn stupid! You can never predict a croc attack, especially when you're working in the murky depths on a boat. I wold just throw that fish if i were you..
weuuhhh!!!! awesome mate.. which reminds me of my first only threadfin exactly 4kg 10 years ago on a land base using 10lb of 60meters sufix braid with FG knot 30lb vanish flouro of 1 M.. hookup on a rapala 09 subwalk bone color in a small reel used to fish for prawns... tica cetus 500 size reel.. ..6.6m lemax powermax cheap rod... almost spooled me twice.. quite psycho back then... havnt caught threadfin again since then. videos in my channel LoL malaysia hv 2 species of threadfin.. some have tentacles like a beard and some dont. cheers mate. awesome crocs. which give me goosebumbs .. hehehe
Okuma komodo [30 pounds of drag] with a single knob power handle instead of those chintzy paddle handles and your are in business. For some reason the shimano baitcasters just don't have the drag. Take a page out of Gong Lei's book.
man you gotta change that intro, I was just like, fuck I've missed one, how did that happen, better watch that one first. checked nope, now I can enjoy
