Love the cleet-khana intro. Intentional or not, the editing style definitely made it feel like an homage to Ken.

A suggestion: have a laptop or tablet in the car connected to the OBDII port, running something like the Torque app, and have remote access to the device. That way you can actively monitor the various values like water temp, oil pressure, etc., from a remote location. Easy peasy for a decent IT guy to set up.

Driving my 80s oldsmobile my foot gets pretty hot just from the vent overtop of the pedal. I couldnt imagine how hot some of those heater cores are getting, and venting air could be cooking people feet from above aswell. Maybe give the vent a shot of expanding foam on the driver sides. Leave the pass side open for additional overheating options. Or T off the heatercores under the hood

Those 4.6’s were used in industrial standby generators. Usually running on natural gas though, but if you think about it as hours of runtime rather than miles driven, it’s not unheard of for power to be out for several weeks after a major storm or flood. Unfortunately that engine has seen A LOT of hours and miles already, and there’s a lot of supporting parts that all need to not fail. I’d love to see it go all month, but I just don’t think it will…

At 16:30 when the long block is being installed in that GMT800 truck, obviously the hood is still on. This makes the job more difficult. On that truck you can actually raise the hood completely vertically by simple removing one bolt (per side) from the top of each hinge and reinstalling the bolts in those unused holes on the hood. This is called the "factory service position". Also let's a lot more light into the engine bay

Was in a bad spot at the start of the year and needed a cheap ride fast, found a decent looking vic for 4500 with 100k on the clock. took it for a two way 11 hour trip and came to the conclusion that it was one of the best choices I could have made. Solid friggin machines

When I raced my Crown Vic for autocross I melted my boots to the floorboard. Cut the cats out and put flex pipe in. Got Hot! I did put a couple floor mats down inside to save my boots.

It'd be slick if you could find a way to mount up a tool box into the SXS. Similar to the slide out drawers that go in the beds of trucks. That'd make for a very convenient Pit setup, rapid response anywhere on the property, etc. Basically a driveable toolbox and if like the pickup truck versions, still have a surface on top to use the bed.

I'm a Ford fan and worked as a tech at a couple dealerships but this car isn't going to make it more than a few days at best. I don't care what brand of car this is, SOMETHING is going to fail within a day or two at the most. A bearing in a pulley or alternator or water pump will give out or the rear differential will give out or the transmission or a u joint will break. It may overheat or something. They should have put the front on jack stands to keep it level to keep the oil level more "level" as well.

That Vic should put on over 74,000 miles by the end of the month of it makes it! Curious how they’re gonna monitor and take care of the oil lol.

Since I was watching this at work I mathed it out. 100mph * 24=2400 miles * 31 days=74,400 miles + 161,458=235,858 miles; or at 102 mph it would be 237,346 miles.

Maybe you could try flushing the oil with the car running. You'd probably lose a bit of the new stuff in the process, but as long as your putting it in at the same speed it's coming out you may be able to do it
