Huge dealer markup! Go through your local performance shop if you want a lift, wheels/tires and fender flares. You'll be helping a local shop owner and you could have a very good looking truck for much less then the 20-25k markup on these trucks.

A good lesson between a need and a want. I need a truck to transport cargo or I want to be seen in a truck that " looks cool".

Badass trucks! I bought a new truck two weeks ago. I had owned a '15 Ram 1500 Tradesman and wanted to upgrade. My '21 Ram 1500 Bighorn Off-Road 5.7L eTorque 4x4 has the Sherrod package which includes a front puck lift, 33x12.50R-20 Ridge Grapplers and 20" Fuel wheels. I paid $58k US. The dealer was also selling Rocky Ridge Rams for a lot more dough.

Good looking truck, but I have always been nervous of factory lifts like that after a buddy got one new and it broke and he had to fight to get it fixed.

You mentioned that there is another dealership in ON that offers SCA Performance trucks. Can you let us know which one ? Is it a Ford or RAM dealership? I have been following SCA for many years and they are a solid company. All of their added parts like fender flares, wheels are designed and manufactured in house and proprietary to them and they are following strict motor vehicle regulations regarding lifted vehicle for roll etc . I would love to see one in person!

Why is the 3.5 inch lift etc on the 2500 HD 25k$ but the 6 inch lift etc on the elevation truck which seems to have more add ons is only 20k$

I hate spiders so much that I wouldn’t buy this truck simply because it is named after the most terrifying spider in existence.

What can it tow

I find SCA's overall style too gaudy for me. I would prefer a performance oriented upgrade package with no more than an 18" wheel, upgraded suspension, and bumper/armor options.

Awesome review, total candy for breakfast! Love the truck, but too much lift. Three inches would look more tactile, and less look at me. When you go up that high, everything that the engineers did gets compromised. Even bearings get over stressed. Better hope you don’t rear end a mother in a civic with her kids in the back!

Give me one in a 3500 and then send it to Mr Banks!

thats why you dont buy a performance truck from a dealer everyone in that shop did just that x50 1 start 2 instantly mash the throttle no warm up conclusion I'm sure it hit redline a few time check the tattle tale in the ecm before buying it will show all bad event that happen they don't have a penny invested

Wow, that's how they should come off he line. I think Gm is having major real world problems with their new cylinder deactivation systems. These fuel management systems are failing customers in the reliability department, and Ford and dodge are not immune from this problem as well. That 2500 is sweet. I'd personally dump the Ko2s they're a garbage tire. Pass.

These things are hideous, they have been for as long as SCA has been making them, I've never actually seen one and hopefully never will. They are also WILDLY overpriced and you don't even get to chose the components added. Just buy a stock truck and bring it to a shop if you have this kind of money.
