I’m happy to see a one story tiny house. Just a note, for those guests with mobility issues, it would be great to have a ramp as part of the deck to get inside.

Like thumper says “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. Great job on the bottle lights. I have tried to do that and I could not get them to stay intact during the cutting and sanding. The new addition is really cute.

When I went out to Portland with a friend for a conference (I was there for over a week) I tried to visit this place but they wouldn't make an appointment for me to visit. I even told them that I came out all the way from the East coast (which I did - from Delaware) but still no luck. This was back in 2019 before COVID - so no....it wasn't COVID related. I guess they only accept visitors that advertise them like this RU-vid channel and others.
@@TinyHouseGiantJourney I wasn’t trying to stay there. Me and my friend reserved our entire stay at the Radisson Red on the other side of town. I might have tried to stay there on my next visit to Portland had I had the opportunity to visit and get a tour.
So you wanted to just wander around? What about other people who might have actually booked the tiny house for the time you wanted to 'visit'? You don't just rock up at a hotel and ask to have a look inside their rooms do you? Jeez...
I really hope Oregon will start getting homeless off the streets. Theyre one of the very few places accepting of the tiny house movement and even just giving someone a bed area and a storage closet type thing/desk area.
There’s a church near me that built little shed type things for the homeless who camp in the woods near the church. It’s an opportunity for them to at least have shelter. I’m in Oregon. To have homeless off our streets, in any meaningful way, lasting...we need to address deeper societal issues...but shelters are a tip of the iceberg start.

Twin is 38" wide (just over 3 feet) vs a Queen that's 60" wide (5 feet) but the house is around 8 feet from the wall to the door and there's only enough room to open the door between the bed and the door. So that fits with it being a Queen...
I love tiny homes, but this is one is silly, calling itself a tiny house. It's the same size as my 14 square feet/13m^2 single student room with ensuite. She said she didn't want it to look cookie cutter, but it does. It's just a room with an ensuite and it looks almost cheap.
Ita very clearly a tiny house. The interior isn't your taste, which is fine, but there's no need to be so rude and insulting. The interior keeps with the theme very well. Its a small space so I'm not sure how much decor you expect to be in there

Your point is valid. To be fair though, there's a difference between not being able to climb a few stairs and not being able to climb a ladder. So this is one version of accessibility for a large portion of society that is mobile but may not have the strength or balance to climb a ladder. Hopefully they'll make fully accessible tiny houses in the future.
@@alexreith4877 Yes Alex, we do have a plan for a fully accessible handicapped house but Covid has hindered our progress some. We are making process and are still open so that's more than many small businesses in the US this year. We feel blessed.
Not a nice finish it’s just a tarted up shed. The location is awful .... a lot of sheds looking out over each other just off the highway. No trees no planting no landscaping ... pretty grim all round
