Honestly this series is gonna be a godsend not just for new players, but for people like me that stopped playing 2 years ago and have completely forgotten everything about it.
Smart of them to give you the mods necessary to crwate magnetic just before going to Venus. That junction gives you quite the power boost. First aura mod and first reactor = happy tenno 😃
I know the balance between "quest walkthrough" and "aw hell, lost the plot" is hard to strike, but I'm enjoying the way you're doing it right now. If I was new, I would not know what exactly is going on in the story, but to me it feels like "soft spoilers" enough to get people intrigued. We get to see the fun bits, we get the occasional goofy moment (the meek little "understood :(" killed me- oh I typed this before "Helloo, I am 50 Solaris." Wheeze), but things still move along at a nice pace And I like that despite keeping a reasonable pace, you let the characters speak their piece when it's particularly relevant, it comes across as treating the story with respect even when you've seen it all before Also, gosh that Fortuna intro. I had already seen the video of it many times by the time I played the game myself, but seeing and hearing it in the game itself still gave me chills. It still does. I miss good old purple Fortuna And thank you again for the high quality subtitles :)
You know what, I've played this game for 10 years, it's currently running in the background. I'm still watching this, completely glued to the screen. Nostalgia is a powerful drug. A little thing Kengineer doesn't mention about parkour: When you aim-glide hold down crouch/slide button to glide faster.
I'm 5000 hours in and MR 33, but I love this series, so much has changed since 2013 or what most people know the "early days" of Warframe looked like; 2016. And the fact that you explain everything is such a great thing to do! Someone should make a forum post with this and a mod there should pin it imo. It'll be a VERY important source of information if 1999 doesn't change too much. Even I learned something in this Video. I didn't know that enemies have shield gating too, surely they didn't have that 10 years ago and corpus are even with the 95% DR a push over for probably everyone at, or higher then MR8, but it does matter when you nearly don't have any mods! And I'm only 4 minutes in at this point. I love it! Thanks for making this series! ♥
i've seen quite a few 75%, it occurred to me that every time i took a somewhat long of a break and came back i almost always came back to a 50% or higher discount. sort of a welcome back gift to keep me going again.
It depends on things like your activity, region (location), how often you buy platinum with or without a discount, etc. The goal is to keep you paying and paying a lot.
@@عبدالرحمنعبدالله-ز4م Uh yeah, no. I've been playing Warframe for years and never not once ever have I felt like DE is predatory with platinum purchases and I have NO problem supporting the makers of the game I enjoy so much with platinum purchases, especially with the monthly 50% discounts. I think you have Warframe confused with some other games. 🤔
8:15 I feel like early game Dark Sectors are decent early game credit farms for new players, which is why I usually tell them to melt down mods for endo. Especially Excavation Dark sectors.
Excavation is a little above a brand new, lonesome Tenno imo. Checking for random trash blueprints is always worthwhile though. Not a fast credit farm, but definitely a good source of credits in a pinch as you accumulate those Harrow parts from relic fissures, or the odd Boar or Gorgon blueprint. And spare frame parts too. And of course, bounties give a pretty large amount of credits and Endo on top of other rewards and standing for other goodies.
@@Joe90h I'm not sure I'd personally recommend Bounties because I feel they can be a bit tedious. You are correct that any duplicate Bps are always nice extra trickle credits, I have had plenty of times where I've forgotten to sell my Harrow Bps and gotten like 250K to nearly 1Mil credits. I only recommend Dark Sectors for credit early game due to the fairly large Bonus Credits you get for completing a Dark Sector(10-20k) on top of mission credits and any credits found in the mission. Given that infested are the weakest faction and early game melee shreds through most enemies they are usually little concern, excluding surprise toxic damage. Excavations are just the most efficient as you can complete the mission in around 2 minutes of less, but any Dark Sector can give decent credits for an early game player.
@@shadowofaion7950 I tell people to jump onto a railjack crew in something like Saturn. Even if all you do is man the big gun and help shoot radiators, it's a big time saver for them and a giant resource boost for you.
Let's go Dan! It's cool to see the new player experience even through the lens of a long time vet like yourself again. I had honestly forgot some of the finer details of the opening of Fortuna and Cetus since I did those on release and that was a while ago now. Fun little trip down memory lane.
A note for Sayas Vigil, you MUST be on SOLO PLAY or you cannot progress. This includes Steel Path, even if there's no quest you must go out onto Cetus in SOLO PLAY.
God I love that fortuna intro. It gets me every time. That Baritone voice is just beautiful I was in a party chat and wasn’t aware what was going to happen, so I didn’t silence my friend and he wouldn’t SHUT THE HELL UP. (This is at fortune’s launch)
One thing people should also know is that fortuna drop pods can sometimes have canisters in them as well. So always make sure to fo a double check whenever you do those kind of missions.
I'm not sure why i had it on but the subtitles for the video are really nice. Also great to see another video part of this series, always fun to watch experienced players start over.
Watching these reminds of me wondering about maps for quite some time to explore in general (and to find other routes for spy missions). Just wholesome!
It is funny to think that the only reason Nef Anyo lives and breathes is because he invests a vast quantity of his fortune in stealth technology so a Tenno can't crash into his ship and turn it into a derelict.
Literally the only thing that sucks about this series is the wait for the next episode. 💀 I love these Vets starting over warframe vids. Almost makes me wish we could have separate save files or something just for funsies without having to make a new account (and the potential risk that comes with that). But cheers for the new ep, the wait for the next entry begins....
Seeing the original Cetus and Fortuna just make me sad that they're now permanently scarred by the leftover Narmer parts. You'd think the Solaris at least would have cut them apart to sell for scrap by now.
@TheKengineer at 4:43 you see the computer there in a 1993 theme is that in your main account too? If I have that it's hidden under decorations... o.O gna check it out but lmk if it's for new players or whatever pls ;>
I kiiiiinda wish DE would just remove that dumb once-per-day mastery restriction... even though you can practice, it does seem a bit harsh just for failing a mission.
I can't buy from players, but I can sell to them - only commodities (eg not rivens) and only at fair market price. I consider it similar to selling to NPCs in a classic MMO, where you can buy basics but not the real equipment everyone farms and trades for usually.
Got a 2035 ban today for god knows why i melted mods and it said like 15k endo, and i was sure it was wrong it glitched me out, now i get 2035 ban and if i try to access forums i get account suspended i seen people saying that they got a ban for this to.
How the hell do you even have time nor have the will to play this game from the start I am MR L2 almost I am struggling to get to max Mr and actually finish the game and start enjoying the game for once in my play time
Love this series! It's a complete different expirience for an old player like me that's practically finished all the content the game has to offer to take a moment and appreciate where we all came from and actually listen to stories and dialogues, I understand and appreciate them much more now 🥹
