I should clarify. Each tamer is once per turn. You could do it 4 times a turn, which is upwards of 4 extra draws each turn. I think it should've been a hard once per turn, like in Yugioh :) That being said I hear your analysis. There's definitely a reason the deck is tier 2. Shinegreymon is a lot more efficient with its tamers and board presence. I appreciate the comment. I like reading comments like this :)

I run Ulforce at 4 and Leopardmon at 2 in my version and it too is more of a chip the stack deck focusing on the low end and building up to veedramon when you can. I like that in my version you don't 100% rely on Veedramon as your win condition but he is just as valid as a win condition in my version as it is in these hard build and combo variants.

Mine likes to take its time, but if it needs to be fast, I can transition to it. I definitely recommend giving Zero a try and I think you'll like it. I'm also on the fence about Matt and Davis, which is why I'm just playing 1 Matt for now (which I think is the perfect number)!

@@mariosgamingworld9311 I tend to avoid 1of's. If a card is good enough to run at 1 it is good enough to run at 2 otherwise you will never see it when you need it and you can't strategize around it since it is likely to get stuffed into security at some point. Security stacks to me basically mean that very few cards can justify being ran at 1. I know the tamers activate when hit in security, but if an opponent is trying to go wide or build a multi-attacker they aren't going to swing at your security until they know they can clear it quickly and getting choked on memory will quickly kill your tempo which is something Ulforce can't afford to sacrifice. Matt is a 2 of for me because of this logic. I also can't agree with you that Jamming Veemon is good at 2. He is your early game poke and lets you alleviate some of the pressure that Ulforce faces by clearing a few cards off the stack early game. This means you can go for lethal with only a hand full of tamers instead of trying to build into 4, 5, even 6 tamers. If you want to play a deck that turtles up and relies on boarding tamers Shine is a better deck. What makes Ulforce so strong IMO is the versatility and its ability to play a pseudo rookie rush strategy early game, then pivot to Ulforce when you have enough tamers to push for lethal. This is also why I think Leopardmon is such a great secondary mega for the deck. It opens up a HUGE potential for alternative play lines and a secondary win condition by making Veedramon into a 2x attacking jammer which you can pump to 7k off of a single tamer. If you aren't drawing into tamers and manage to field just 1, Leopardmon gives you a win condition that still sets you up for a 2nd stack into Ulforce if the tamers start showing. Being able to pump Veedramon from 6k to 7k is also significant since it puts you above most blockers and means you can swing into security either for free, or they have to sack a blocker and you keep your body.

Bastemon which would be a 5th Monzaemon if it could be, and Omnimon which I only own 1 of and you don't mind the games when it is checked in security generally any way. The basic idea is that your entire bottom end allows you to abuse Veemon's (BT3-021) jamming since you can swing, digivolve a different rookie into ExVeemon, and either swing again or keep him unrested to protect him for the next turn, then run up into AeroVeedramon to restand him again before fielding your Ulforce or Leopardmon. Alternatively if you have a play line into Veedramon and you have a tamer on field you can get him out and use him as a digivolution source then rip him with Leopardmon and swing for 2x Jamming attacks every turn, with the potential to restand him through the same ExVeemon/AeroVedramon line while building back into Ulforce. Bonus, if you have V-Tamer or Reina out you can pump the Veedramon to a 7k making it bigger than blockers so you don't run the risk of trading and either force them to delete a blocker on your attack, or they choose not to block and you get your jamming attack. You still have the core Ulforce line as well so you can abuse early game aggression as well as still having a boss monster that can swing out for 3-4 attacks off of just a hand full of tamers.

I think it helps because you can hard play 2 cost Gomamon or Elecmon to Unsuspend the Ulforce when you swap turns or get another attack in if you still have memory
