Going over my list for The Balrog! This Rakdos sacrifice Voltron commander can really pack a punch, and for as little as 2 mana, talk about value! Hope you guys enjoy this one, I'm still going through some of the Lord of the Rings commanders, I made have a few more before we get to the Wilds of Eldraine spoilers in just 2 weeks! I noticed you have Liquimetal Torque. A neat little tip: when the Balrog dies, you can use the Torque to make an enchantment into an artifact and you can kill it with the Balrog's death trigger.

Yep, that’s my favorite usage for liquimetal torque, I’ve aced plenty of enchantment with that and artifact removal hahah

Yeah I don’t like infinite combos in any of my decks. I always picture 4 people assembling their huge armies of monsters and just as they’re charging at each other to fight, one of the players presses an I win button and it’s over. It just feels really anticlimactic and different from what I’m trying to get out of the game haha

You keep mentioning the sacrifice triggers for the end step, but unless I missed something Balrog doesn't have Flash, so other than with Vedalken Orrery all those sacrifice are useless.

If you’re talking about with stuff like Urabrasks forge, you can always sacrifice them to another effect like Viscera Seer. Otherwise I suppose yeah you’d probably want orrery and emergence zone in the deck

@@levisdeckbox i am just saying that if you aren't capitalizing on the "end of turn sacrifice..." triggers, why limit yourself to them, there is a lot of good cards that have similar if not sometimes stronger effects but with "exile at end of turn"
