so much love for Swope! Marshalled there for almost 2 years before having to step back due to my change in schedule at my main job. Wished I could have seen this. Course is looking so pure! Can't wait for the changes they have for next year to make it even better!
You should play Stableford: point system game with 1pt for bogey, 2pts for par, 4pts for birdie, and 8pts for eagle. Great game and incentivizes aggressive play.
Hi there Garret. A game suggestion: ⛳ Change partner every hole. Flip a tee (or something) to see who will be your partner for that hole.......and flip again at the next hole, and so on. And the play format can be scramble or something. This game suggestion can be played with 4 people, but is most fun if you are like 6 players or so, so I suggest you play it with the Good Good team.
For a 9 hole video 333 would be fun. You need 4 players. First 3 holes player 1 teams with player 2 and player 3 with player 4, next 3 holes player 1 teams with 3, and 2 with 4. Last 3 holes player 1 teams with 4 against players 2 & 3. We play this as stroke play, aggregate scores, but it works with match play as well. You have a winning team at the end of each group of holes, the player with the most team wins is the overall winner.
they didn’t record the round they played, but garrett mentioned a discussion regarding a future round with GnG. he went into it on the rick shiels show.
Play where you all tee off from the middle tees. If you birdie the hole...you back up a tee box. If you Par the hole...you stay where you're at. if you bogie or worse...you move up a box. Of course you can't go back further than the back tees.
Hi GM in the video you asked for game suggestions. When we only have a 3 ball we play 4-2-0 Basic rules if you win the hole out right you get 4 points and if the next 2 get the same score they get 1 each but if one beats the other they get 2 points. If 2 players draw the hole they get 3 points each with the third player getting 0. If all 3 players get same score all get 2 points. It’s a good game to play and no matter the score you are never out of it hope the above all makes sense and you get a chance to play it
Here is a game that you may like: Everyone tees off from the forward tee. If you par, you stay on that tee. If you birdie you move back. Once you have moved back one tee, that is where the game really begins. Those that birdied will always move back a tee until the reach the tips. However, if you bogey a hole you move up a tee. Scoring is stroke play. Hopefully i have explained that so it is understandable.
Play “Bingo, Bango, Bongo”. Lots of fun. - 1 point for first on the green on each hole. (Bingo) - 1 point for closest to the pin on each hole. (Bango) - 1 point for first in the cup on each hole. (Bongo) Total strokes don’t matter but you need to observe “honors” and “away” rules. Sandbag tactics are frowned upon, but perfectly legal.
i mentioned a wolf ripple last video for the non wolf team. Winning ball gets 4 points, other teammate gets 2. Another way my group plays wolf is for the last rotation, so in your case holes 7-9, low point man is always wolf as it gives him a chance to catch back up. And yes, more Blake
You guys should definitely play the train game that Kwon played on his channel. Looked super fun and unlike Wolf you’re never really out of it cuz anyone can get knocked off the train at any time and lose all points. Keep up the content tho man we are all grateful!
Hey Garrett, if you think the old Big Bertha is a cool driver... Find yourself a Taylormade R9 TP 8.5' Driver with a 44.5' inch Fujikura Blur X Flex shaft... I promise you will be in love from the moment you hit it - and the sound is like a gun going off... the ball flight will suit you as you like to shape the ball both ways - and this particular shaft was very popular and will allow you to absolutely "kill it" when you want to just go hard and long...! I personally have hit the longest drives of my life with this club and as we use to own a driving range here in Melbourne Australia, I can assure you - I have hit every driver on the market and still go back to the R9.!! You can also pick up one of these online for under $150 USD.
