Not sure why folks emphasize the convention part so much, it’s a beautiful resort with a ton of amenities. Contemporary, Boardwalk, Grand Floridian, and others also have sizable convention center offerings, and it doesn’t take away from the feel of any of those locations, Coronado included. As for lacking in theming for families, I hear that all the time about Coronado Springs, but I don’t hear the same criticism of other moderate or deluxe resorts. If you want over the top theming, go to any of the value resorts. Anyway, I stayed away from Coronado for SO long because of all the criticism, but we stayed there last year and we’re sorry we didn’t go sooner! Its beautiful, has amazing theming, tons of amenities, loads of dining options. It might be a moderate, but it feels like a deluxe resort! We’ll be back!!! 😃
So happy Quincy did this resort tour! She’s the best! ☺️This is my family’s favorite resort. I’ve been going since my girls were preteens, they are in their late teens now. They love it! They love the pool and the food! So if you have teens this is an awesome resort! We stay in the rooms outside of the tower and think they are also very nicely renovated too! We drive so the buses are not an issue for us, although we do take the bus to Disney Springs. Also the cast members here are amazing!!! Every time we’ve gone they have been above and beyond! My only con for this resort is the cheerleading competitions. Lovely girls but it’s just crowded and loud when they are there.
This is truly my favorite Disney resort. Stayed there twice so far and looking forward to more stays there. The hotel is decorated so beautifully for Christmas; IMHO it's a Deluxe resort at a Moderate price. You will LOVE IT.
@@luisahutson1012 Yes! Each morning we were allowed into any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before day guests. You just go to a separate entrance line and they scan your room key card. It worked great, especially for Flight of Passage, Soarin and Rise of the Resistance!
We stayed in Grand Destino tower on our last visit in late September…it was stunning! The whole resort was beautiful, especially at night. We had little to no trouble getting around via Disney busses, we only got held up due to an electric scooter in our party. Grand Destino has its own busses direct to the parks for park arrivals, only on the way”home” from the parks do the Tower guests ride the loop and get dropped off last. Also, the smell in the Tower is AMAZING!!!
First time I've seen the place since they added the huge tower section. I enjoyed my stay here quite a while ago. They need to do something with the old check in area. It looks deserted. An indoor garden that is Spanish-themed would be a lovely use of the space and a refreshing area to be in when it's hot outside.
Stayed there in September 2021 in the Tower in a regular room for a few days (we did a split stay) and loved it! The Barcelona Lounge has a great Bon Bon drink (Molly had it on a VLOG), had a regular room with lots of room, bed/pillows were so comfy that I took pictures of the tags on them. The smell was so beautiful. Went to Sangria University which was fun. The Staff were excellent!
Stayed at Gran Destino for the first time this last September. LOVED IT! For the price, it is on par with The Poly IMO. Luckily, an AP discount came out and I was able to upgrade from AoA back to GDT for only $25/night more! Sooooo Excited!
Hi! I just want to thank you so much for making this amazing content. This was so useful!!!! My mom and I will be going on a trip next month and we have a tradition of going to the Pop Century Resort every year, but there were no more rooms left so we had to choose another place to stay in, and my mom requested the Coronado Springs Resort. I didn't agree at first, but know that I saw the full tour, I LOVED IT! I'm BEYOND EXCITED to stay there!!! I can't describe HOW EXCITED I am!!!!! It, also, has so much detail. For example: The reading lights, the mini-frige inside the cabinet etc.... I, also, love that there is a thermostat because it is so much better because I come from a place where it is always SO HOT, and I see people wearing shorts and a top with short sleeves while I'm wearing like 5 jackets with 2 cozy pants, and I see the others and I'm like :OOOOOOOOO HOW AREN'T Y'ALL COLD!! Anyways, you get the idea....lol..... But, what worries me is that you say a lot that it's more for adults than for kids.... I'm 11!.... But, I bet I'll like it because I don't really spend so much time in the hotel, I spend more time in the park. (Also, excuse me if I have some bad grammar, this is my second language. I originally speak Spanish).
Considering this for our anniversary this year 20 years of marriage ❤️ we’ve stayed at this resort before it’s so beautiful and I would like to enjoy it kid free! Thanks for all the tips!
Enjoying the video. That’s nice that they don’t stop you for a reservation to go up to Toledo level in order to enjoy the view. It reminds me of the old days at California grill when you could wander at will, drink in hand.
We stayed there in Casitas for 14 nights from the UK, absolutely loved this resort, Feliz Navidad is etched into my brain, as our stay was in holiday season 😂😊 highly recommend this resort.
Fantastic tour. Looks like a huge difference in room niceness in the gorgeous, modern Tower rooms versus the 2nd and third villages father from the convention center. 🤔 Thanks for showing so many details around the resort, this is the most helpful tour on this hotel, that I’ve seen anywhere. Excellent job as always Quincy.
The Casitas bus stop is the first to be picked up and dropped off and that is due to how the buses arrive to the resort. I've always booked a preferred room in the Casitas to be closer to the food court and gift shop and because it is nice being the first on the bus.
Loved this review w/ Quincy!! Going stay here in 45 days for a last minute trip w/ friends. I’m so excited to see this resort in person to experience the views and options this resort offers.
We were booked for there for our national dance convention in the summer of 2020. I was so bummed we didn’t get to stay there. I even upgraded to the tower bc I wanted to stay there, and you couldn’t beat the convention rates we got!! Hopefully they’ll schedule another one there in the near future so we can finally try it out.
Thanks for this Quincy. Your review got us excited to stay at the Coronado Springs and helped us make the most of our visit. Keep up your awesome job!!!! Brenna and Laurene :)
Thanks Quincy for this great tour! 1st time staying there next winter, 1st time in florida as well, shall i be concerned by snakes and gators encounters out of water? Such as bushes, plants, pathways...?
Amazing! We love seeing all of this content from you Quincy! My husband and I are staying at Hyatt place lake Buenavista next august. Is the all ears crew going to do reviews there too? Xx
Since you asked us, the viewing audience... ;) The bread looks more like pita than what we usually call naan - traditional Indian naan is usually fluffier, while pita can come in many thicknesses - but Three Bridges appears to have naan all over the menu, and pita not at all. But in some languages, "naan" is just the word for "bread," so it's not necessarily inaccurate. Disney's probably referring to it as naan, so since the important thing is knowing how to order it, then that's the stuff!
I stayed at one of the Casitas for a week this Summer. It was great, beautiful and grand and luxurious and not too expensive. The pool was awesome too. Not my favorite, though. And as a Spanish person I can say that some of the Spanish meals are kind of a rip-off 🤣.
Pack good walking shoes. It's a huge complex. Unless you're staying in the tower, everything is pretty far away. The Rix bar has some really good food, the Toledo Tapas and Steak house is fabulous, as is the Dahlia Lounge. The pools are great, too. My sister and I loved the hot tub so much that we skipped the fireworks at Magic Kingdom (we'd seen the Epcot show the night before) so we'd have time to go in again!
I don’t think the queen beds are any different in the various resorts. My family stayed at Grand Floridian this past summer and had such a restful and pain free sleep I ordered the mattress directly from Sealy. It was actually reasonably priced and now we have an amazing night sleep every night!
Hi! A friend of mine will be staying at Coronado Springs and I am driving over to have dinner with her at Three Bridges. Will Three Bridges validate my parking? I heard since they don't have reservations at that restaurant they don't validate and other people told me I won't be charged for parking if I don't stay overnight.
Really wish you would do a tower of the outside villages, specifically casitas. Everyone is doing tours of the tower rooms, follow a different path QUINCY!!!!! Be UNIQUE!
It was a good tour video. But the resort architecture was not inspired by the surrealist painter Salvador Dali but rather the Catalan Modernist architecture of Antonio Gaudi. Specifically, Gaudi designed the still under construction Sagrada Familia along with the moorish designs seen in southern Spain. It appears that the name and Spanish/Mexican theme Destino does come from the Dali inspired Disney film.
They do have small many fridges they're basically to hold water bottles or alcoholic drinks there is no freezer in that refrigerator. Also if you would like a microwave in your room make sure that you ask your services they will accommodate. We stayed there at the end of October of this year
Dali is my favorite artist of all time. I see absolutely nothing that would make me think the hotel is inspired by him. I see a lot of Mexican influences and he was not Mexican.
Almost $300 a night right now for AP holders. There's nothing about this, or any Disney hotel, that is "a steal". As a passholder for both resorts, I've given up on Disney hotels since you can stay at universal hotels at half the price for twice the room.
I keep considering this hotel, but all the bus stops put me off. Hate that no hotel offers breakfast before 7 these days, if you rope drop, you can’t get fresh food which was not the case before Chapek used covid to ruin things.
I do love the resort tours by Quincy but I started doing shots every time she says "and things like that".... pretty hammered half way through the video.
Coffee that does not fill the cup is a sin. As a first responder, I can tell you that the First commandment of caffiene is: thou shalt always fill Thine cup no matter how strongeth coffee may be
Really nice, but I don't think it fits in well with the rest of the resort. When I first saw this announced (idek how many years ago that was now) I thought it was a joke!
