Leigh wondered what they meant by hand dipped ice cream, in the states we have soft serve( which comes out swirled from a machine or dipped from a bucket/ container by a person by hand.

We were stopping at the Gran Destino Tower the same time as you visited, I wish you could have see the view from the other side of the building. We were on the 10th floor, we didn’t want to leave.

My favourite place to visit after Disney so peaceful

So pleased you both went to winter haven. my English aunt lives with her American husband there before she retired she worked at Bok tower’s gift shop, they have beautiful gifts inside. The long road drive up to the entrance used to be full of orange groves until they had a fire. We were over this May and went to bok.and in the house. The house re opened first time this year after closing due to covid. If you like stately homes then it’s worth adding it to the ticket. My cousin works in Legoland orlando and it has 3 parks all separate payments pepper pig world, Legoland with 2 hotels on site and water park with fumes and rides. Cypress gardens was the grounds prior to Legoland, they were only allowed to purchase the ground if they kept the gardens as they are and can’t build on it. The gardens have a tree it’s I believe called a banyan tree it is very old can’t remember the age. Beautiful garden in Legoland we went when it was cypress gardens it had a coaster and a few rides so pleased that Legoland could only build on the land by keeping the gardens and its big lake. Legoland also have a small beach resort jus outside the park, we stayed for hubbies birthday a few years ago and by it is Ruby Tuesdays eating place nice burgers. It made our day watching this vlog and we’re so pleased you liked Bok on a clear day the views are spectacular

Destino tower is a stunning hotel, we had my wife’s 43rd birthday there and dined at Toledo late and watched the fireworks, gorgeously themed and for us on the night the food was really good… thankyou for showing it both, gorgeous hotel but for us too much of a cost to ever wanting to stay there….. have you ever considered showing some of the idrive hotels etc, the usual suspects that most go, to limit the cost when trying to afford an Orlando vacation these days, we have booked the plaza this sept which is still a 4k flights and accommodation for us without park tickets with tickets and spending we are @8k for our 2 week vacation……. Sadly this might have to be the last one till we decide to go back after epic has opened, it’s just getting way to expensive now and none of the travel industry is pushing USA prices in the direction we would like…. 🙏🏽👍🏼🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I've been watching you two for a long time and I'm always looking for you when I'm in the Parks. I love that you go visit other places in Florida you give me some good ideas. I live in Winter Haven so I was very excited to see that you came down here and saw our town and went to Bok Towers which I live very close to. It's one of my favorite places I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. Please keep going to all these cool places you go besides the parks because there's so much to do in Florida

I have to say that I'm loving how you've traveled and enjoyed many States. So many just stay in the parks and hardly venture out of the Disney bubble. Just know you both are very appreciated 💙💙

I stayed in the Tower at Coronado Springs at the end of my trip last Nov and it was so relaxing, loved it there. Would do a whole trip there but the transport to the parks was the only let down for me being only buses. Great for few days though

Lovely scenery we stayed at Coronado springs in 2019 and we watched Hollywood studio’s fireworks for it being a moderate property it felt like a high end one ❤

I enjoy your visits to other locations on your trips, and your visits around Florida. We rarely go to the Disney parks. Instead we go to the beaches. I plan to go in August to Panama City with family. I also enjoy your park visits.

We went to Bok Gardens (and Cypress Gardens) in 1999 on our second visit to Orlando. Aside from the carillion, our main memory is of our guide for the tour around the house - a lovely old fellow, but he unfortunately (and very amusingly) broke wind on a regular basis all the way round 😄 By the way, pretty sure that hill on which Leigh was pointing out the views is the highest (natural) point in Florida.

Another place to visit back up north on the US27 to Clermont. There is the Citrus Tower, The Mini White House and back towards Four Corners there is the "Showcase of Citrus" complete with Monster Truck tours.

You should try the Winter Park art museum. They have one of (if not the) largest single collection of all things made by Tiffany’s. It was definitely worth the $7 and a short walk from the cute Main Street area! ( cuter than winter garden imo ) 💕 much love from Houston TX!

Bok Tower and those gardens are totally new to me, and looks like a real find for places to visit that are less touristy. I do like a good Cuban sandwich, and the one you had looked quite tasty. It was nice to see some places that are a bit off the beaten path for a change.

That bar reminds me of the marvel sky bar in hotel new york at paris 👌

Love Bok Tower Gardens, relaxing and food in Palmetto excellent. You missed out not going into Treasured Olive, trying all the different flavours of oils etc. Lucille’s well worth a visit for food and Grove Roots Brewery. Eaten at Fire many times. Winter Haven a great place to visit, we have friends who live there so tried quite a lot of places around. Cherry Pocket’s an experience but food great if you’re just doing Bok, it’s close by, a hole in the wall type place with good food.
