My new nephew born four days ago. I sent this video to my brother and he replays works!!! He sent me a picture holding the baby like this, and he look so cute but most confortable and sleepy. God bless this doctor in name of all new parents!!
AndroidGaming FTW it's a baby guys, babies are the epitome of Innocence what the heck how could you even sexualize a baby, is that even possible, my God lol
I'm an ER nurse and first time parents often bring their fussy babies to the ER in the middle of the night thinking something is wrong with them. I love showing this to those parents and watching their faces when their baby magically stops crying. It almost always works!
Been holding babies this way forever and currently have a 3 month old that this the only way you can hold her easy move the baby around til baby seem comfortable
Our newborn baby was very fussy and had been upset, I picked her up and tried it and immediately she relaxed and just wanted to look around and smile! Love this new trick
I just put my baby in the air and swayed her side to side telling my hubby this what I do when I'm bored. He said don't make fun of her. I said I'm not. It's just funny & cute how small she is. It's funnier in person. At least just to me. Bc poor munchkin is helpless she has no other option but to put up w/me. Then I told her I sing the Gummi bear song to her & make her dance to it. 🤷🏻♀️ works for me. Ok, it doesn't really make her stop crying. But I remember seeing this before I had her. She's 2 day short of being 2 weeks 😍. Hate it when I walk out the room and his dad's all in her face like what is it girl? Me on the crapper: ugh. I can't even use the bathroom... what it is is that you're in her face, doofus. Like she wasn't at peace 1 sec ago. She was sweepin & u couldn't help but to bug her. But ill hafta try this.
You’re not a bad mother! No parent is bad because a baby cries a lot and don’t take it personal. Babies cry and it can be very hard when it’s a lot of crying but you’ll get through it. Remember to take breaks when you can ❤
No mother is a bad mother unless they refuse to help their child when something is wrong. The child is young and doesn't understand a single thing all it knows is I pushed something out I'm hungry or tired and I don't know which I am right now.
@@beavisscott7834 Dude you got some serious problems in the head. That's some senseless and hard core racist shit right there. Black babies are still babies.
Organic soap a joke doesn’t mean it’s okay. If someone insulted your mom and said “I’m joking” that doesn’t make it any less insulting. That shit is not funny. It’s hard core racist.
Before watching this video I had tried a very similar trick with my little infant daughter several times and yes it *always* worked like a charm to stop her crying. 100% of the times!! Thank you doc for validating the trick, much appreciated!!
Genta if everyone is trying to abolish sterotypes about women then why the hell do people still hold onto the idea that men just want sex or are pedophiles. Just stop.
The crossing the arms makes a lot of difference. I noticed that with my babies. I didn't learn it right away though. Babies like to be swaddled. Being uncovered like at a doctor's office makes them panicky.
I was at the park and this dad was trying to make his baby stop crying for a while when I remembered this video, I just showed it to him and the baby stopped crying instantly! THIS WORKS WONDERS! Thank you!
In fact it's scientificaly proved. Human is "programmed" to react and to recognize a baby crying. The frecancy of the crying wave was created to be the worst noise in the world so a dad or a mom has to stop it by taking care of baby.
Have an 8 week old and if hes crying loudly and I'm holding him it literally makes my right eardrum feel like its fluttering. I started putting an earplug in when it's happening lol.
I remember my father was good at handling babies. He only needed a few seconds and the baby was still, quiet. No, one knew what he was doing, it worked for him every time. So, this is what he was doing. At BBQ's he loved being given the babies to hold . The mum's would say "Please Frank take him for a minute." We put it down to his experience. We all thought it was the baby feeling our inexperience and agitation. ..and comparing his solid hold to our shaky nervous agitation hold. The baby knew she/ he was a safe place. Nice video
I did this to my nephew and he learned how to properly crawl in order to find his mother and he started babying me whenever we were together With my niece she slapped me across the face and my other nephew sat down and looked as if he was contemplating his life choices when I did it to him
Actually the 45 degree angle hold has nothing to do with keeping the baby interested. In the original vid, the doctor said that you want to hold the baby at a 45 degree angle so that you don't drop the baby because if you hold them up right, they are likely to throw their head backwards and that's when you can easily lose control of them and drop them because of the way that they are being held. So yeah, there's really no scientific explanation behind that part. It's just the position that makes sense.
1:15 another idea. because he is literally controlling their physical form, he is giving them a new sensation. He is in control of their torso, hips, and vertical alignment of their spinal column. His manipulation of their body is new to them, they can not make their body do this. It is also a great introduction to balance. :D Very ingenious!
I remember that my grandfather used to hold my sister like this when she was a baby, and it totally works. Nobody else understood why she would stop crying only when he held her. Makes sense now that I've watched this.
I was born not crying and with my eyes open, to make sure I wasn't dead my doctor hit me on the bum so I started crying, yes my first social interaction with a human being is by hitting me on the bum 😆😆😆
@@mewgontwo8958 was that really necessary tho. The comment was like 10 months ago and the reply was 5 months ago. I don’t really know why you’re trying to start an argument
m0neez Ya is fucking amazing. I hope this works forever. It has made having a newborn almost to easy. The crying is always the worst. This is amazing and this dude deserve the Nobel peace prize
I found out how to do it you just grab his arms at front with handcuffs and shake it really hard up and down until it pukes then it will stop trust 100% real
👍👍 Also, when they are lying down flat on their backs for a diaper change, wrap/swaddle a receiving blanket, etc around their upper body (not head obviously) or one rolled up on each side of the baby so they have that security and do not feel like they are falling, 🙂
They think that's that crazy music mommy listens to and this person just hears it in their head. Clearly, that's what's happening. My poor blobby baby. She can't even hold her head up for too long to even see what's in the room. She just has a toy mirror or has to wait for me to hold her in certain positions.
Thanks for the tip, hope it hasn’t been patched yet. I’ll try this on my 8 year old brother next time he cries and let you all know if it still works Update: Tried it on a child in the park and I think they added an anti-cheat for it since now I’ve been banned for 10 years in prison. When I get unbanned I’ll look for an exploit

This isn't rocket science. This is a doctor who knows that the infant's largest life experience is in the womb. Re-creating the position of the child in utero and mimicking the movements s/he experienced as the mother moved about would be the most soothing to the infant.
TrapDistrict Tapes--You are such a typical Internet Troll. You have nothing constructive to say. You have no reasoned thought to share. All you can do is employ quaint little Anglo-Saxon epithets and resort to name-calling, which is risible. Run along now. You've had your fun for the day.
east wood its a science show where these doctors and professors explain the science behinde viral videos, such as the Russian homemade (well its Russia do we have to point out "homemade") swing between 2 buildings and apparently babies crying
