Yea he probably just has a lower pain threshold than most dogs. I have chronic pain but I’ll tell you when there’s something I REALLY want, I’ll figure it out . Granted I do have my limits. But still this little guy probably REALLY hurt.
Yah it hurts! He walks on it, causing it to spread open & maybe rip more. He's also walking on dirt, pebbles, pee, Roundup & other crap that probably stings😢! If he got a quarter sized hole in his side, he'd probably just lick it & act like it's no big deal😊!
What I love the most about this, is that the little pup has lived a life so free of pain and disconfort that the little paper cut is the worst pain he has ever felt
I have a 7 year old bearded dragon and I’ve hand fed him every meal and supervise him when he’s outside so I’m fairly certain he’s never been hurt. The other day when I accidentally dropped the feeding tongs on his head I’m pretty sure that might have been the first time he’d ever felt pain. It took his brain like a solid 30 seconds to boot up (I actually thought he didn’t react at all) before he puffed up and did a defensive posture towards not the tongs, nor me, but his green beans. 😂
@maryclark6661 How do you know they didn't do any of the things you're accusing them of doing or not doing? Their dog was in pain so they took him to the vet to get checked, and you're still not happy. And she never blamed the dog, btw. People like you are the worst.

I’m in a few dog groups and at the smallest thing gone wrong they are like “take it to the vet” I’m like “ yea I’m looking for alternatives” ergo my experience has been most people don’t think to do anything themselves they just rush their dog to the vet at the first sign of even a small manageable issue.

@@giga-egg i think you missed the point. the thing is that a small cut like this is basically nothing and there are other injuries that actually hurt. the person who commented said that they're glad that's the worst pain the dog felt because it could've been much worse and much more painful, but it wasn't, so they're happy the dog is fine.
Mostly this makes me think that this pup has been loved, well taken care of & protected all it's life bc while paper cuts are certainly annoying - it seems to be the worst "pain" this poor little pup has experienced and that warms my insides, thank you

Will say things like “9/10 acting” but a cut on the paw can hurt and make it hard to walk, especially dogs with more sensitive paws. People should react more like their baby got a cut on their foot, they’d probably react more accordingly
I’ll be honest, I deal with chronic pain and I’ll tell you even when it gets bad, if there’s something I want( like food) I’ll figure it out, pain or not. I mean there is a limit like if it’s too bad I’m screwed BUT sometimes you are in ALOT of pain but not so much that you can’t figure out how to get what you need done.

We had a Chihuahua that was an Oscar winning performer. After every vet visit, he would milk it. Shots meant a heating pad and snuggles for days. 😂😂 Adam was a special soul.

I have a small poodle that will frame his brother for stepping on him even though I clearly saw that he wasn't even close. He has learned that if we think he's hurt he gets extra attention. He will think my head is turned and squeal and hobble. I swear these little critters know how to play us like fiddles. 😂
if anything, the dog responding so heavily to such a small injury is proof that he's being well taken care of. he doesn't know what lots of pain or stress feels like.

Facts. I babysit dogs for my siblings when they travel and vice versa. My bro’s dog wasn’t chasing tossed toys or treats. I called bro and he said she’s 10 dog years. I consulted the University of Google and put my glasses on…💭🗯️🧐 Glasses!!! I took her to the vet immediately to get an eye exam. I got baby girl meds for now but she may need surgery to preserve her eyesight. So I hit up siblings and cousins pockets and received $3200 to help even though she has insurance. If your dog jumps when you approach them from behind and to one side or can’t find something that’s in their vision, go get them checked out quickly. I suggested bro do wellness checkups and be proactive. He’s 14 and has had Buppy since age 4. So I know he can do better.

One time when I was like 4 I was trying to use nail clippers and thought that maybe the ball of my food was too think and that I should shave it down and I ended up making a hole in by foot and it hurt for so long

He is very sensitive to pain & he knew his parents would make him all better. So many times our pets hide their pain. He's smart & dramatic. Reminds me of little children's who have a barely scraped knee. ❤
Yeah, we had a dog who did something similar. After she got spayed, she milked her condition as long as she could. If we snuck up and she didn’t know we were watching, she acted totally normal. But when we were around she played the damsel in distress! It was adorable.
One of my cats was the same after getting fixed! I took her back to the vet because the entire family was convinced something was wrong. Only for the vet to tell me she has a low pain tolerance lmao
We all respond to pain differently. He is just so pure that even the finest paper cut injury was excruciating! Give hims some treats for strength building!
I worked at a vets office and I swear the amount of times owner’s brought their pets in for a serious injury, only to have the pet act totally fine when the owner left was mind boggling! Some dogs will milk it so hard in front of their owner and then when they leave, act totally fine. Other dogs will act tough in front of their owner and only let themselves show pain when their owner leaves. Dog’s personalities are truly something else!
There was an article online over here in the UK about a dog whose owner broke his leg. He was so worried when his dog started hobbling badly that he took it to the vets, who did x-rays etc on it. £3,000 later, they couldn't find anything wrong. The dog was limping out of sympathy with his owner
My horse is like this too. He acts like he’s about to die but then miraculously recovers. One time he rolled down on the ground and couldn’t get up. Keep in the mind this guy is old as shit. So we thought it was time to put him down. We call the vet out to get the job done. And perhaps he sensed the grim reaper coming because he jumped up and was walking around again. He’s done similarly things and always get better when the vet comes to put him down. He refuses to die.
How could anyone say no to that little face? He is just so dang cute and the way he facors that paw as if he broke something. That's real trust. He knows his humans will take care of him. What a special little guy!
How heartwarming is it to watch him push through the pain to get up and walk even just a few steps to get his din-din. What a brave, strong boi. 💪🏼🤭 He may have a long road to recovery, but with his family there to help him, it will be easier. 😉😄❤
My Jack Russell has pulled that carry me bit too. Then she has a miracle recovery, and runs to be fed. These little dogs are masters at this kind of thing. They know how to get anything.
My poodle did that. Limping for a few days. Took him to the vets, up on the table and vet asked me what happened. Poodle decided he wanted some attention & started jumping up. He realised mid jump he'd been sprung. The expression on his face was hilarious
I guess he is a jack Russell and weiner dog ( dachshund). I have a jack Russell and chihuahua mix that looks just like this pup and my baby is just as much a drama queen also.

I don’t know this dog, but I love him 😍 It was the look at the camera whilst he’s on the floor with his huge red plaster on his paw that made me fall in love with him. The look he gives, says ‘do you see my plaster, I’m hurt but I’m brave and I’ll battle through it’ 😂❤❤❤ and he does exactly that on the way to his food bowl at dinner time 😂😂❤❤❤

Papercuts hurt. We had a pug that used to do the same thing. Sometimes they like sympathy for a tiny little injuries. Just like a person needs a little love and understanding for their poor me’s once in a while!!
Dogs rely their paws to control body temperature because of this they have a lot of nerves in their paws so it's gonna cause a weird kind of pain for them it's the same as when a human gets a second degree burn it doesn't have to be a big area of skin that is burned for the nerves to cause a weird pain that can last for hours
