@@MuYe 4wd is hard to drive bc locked diff means the wheels have to slip to change speed and they do at unpredictable times. any locked diff will do that. Then you will do so much better
@@MuYe also in general driving focus on turning and breaking at the right moment and the racing lone but more of entering the car at the spot. Also slow in fast out so you don’t slide off as easily
@Jared Leonhart also in general 4wd is hard to drift because you got the rear wheels trying to get the car to slip like a rwd car, but you also got the front wheels trying to pull you back straight again like a fwd. So in my opinion a low powered rwd car is the best for drifting but it really depends on your skill and preferences.
AWD is very satisfying to drift with also you always have control over the car and it's easy to master (Yeah, that's not fully "drifting", that's "powersliding")
Powersliding is the initiation part of the drifting. Drifting is just controlling the slide of your car. If you controlling the slide, that's drifting. No matter the drive type, or method to initiate. If you are having fun, that's all it matters
@Muye Hey, have u thought about driving in reverse with a CVT and see how fast u can go? Also I made a CVT like yours and you are exactly correct on launching at right about 4k rpm lol! Best launches ever!
eYuM try switching the rears to road compound or reduce rear grip in general it can really kick its butt out prolly might help, or if too twitchy, put low front grip but it will be harder to kick the rear, but that's why the handbrake is for, put the torque split to 65-35 maybe might improve things a lil bit
Bruh... this thing is not even close to the "ultimate CVT drift machine" here is my CVT drift build: Firstly, get yourself a Sunburst 2.0 Sports (FWD) -remove the door panels& back seat , same with sun roof; -remove the Electronic systems *a Sport RS ECU, RS exhaust, sport intake and a CVT transmission. LSD is required. *Drift Steering, RS struts front and rear, 17x7 Hirochi SunSport S front wheel, 14x5.5 Standard Steel rear wheel with sport break. this build is a light tune FWD Drift Build .it's easy and fun to make it slide at any time but also challenging to master it perfectly. maybe little bit difficult to try it on wheels without a hand brake so I recommend to remove the front break and just use the rear brake to adjust the stance during the drifting. *optional :if you want drift this thing at a high speed, you need Sport S Turbo(with better water &oil colder) and a 14x7 wheel. it's enough to do its job trust me. btw, plz keep upload the car chase series, m8 :ˇ
