Dude! If this rom hack was combined with the quality of Blaze Black 2 Redux/Volt White 2 Redux, it would be the best gen 5 hack to date. I really hope modders keep putting their efforts into these amazing rom hacks. Seeing Pokemon that have been animated for gen 5 that dont natively belong in those games is truly incredible! i would imagine its oretty tough to make them function properly, though

While this hack looks interesting I don't get one thing: why put all that effort into creating new sprites for trainers and swapping important old trainers for Alolan trainers, but keep the story exactly the same? If for whatever reason you can change events itself, at least change dialogue to fit the characters better. Gladion is the most glaring example of this. In SM he ran away from the foundation to stop Lusamine, in USUM he left to get stronger. Neither version fits with Hugh's motivation. I wouldn't be that hung up on this if they didn't bother to change Purrloin to Vulpix in this hack. Because that means they bothered to go through the dialogue and it just wasn't something that was left in by mistake or to be changed in an updated version.

Im gonna be honest this hack is underwhelming tbh. The weird replacement of certain characters w/ the alola ones isn't really done that well and alot of the moments are really awkward.

Try Pokémon nameless bro. I’ve got hella hours in it. Like 70 so far and not done with the story. I also accelerate the speed so that might factor when I try to get thru slow parts. But incredible hack you would absolutely love it. 10/10 game
