The Klarus G15 V2 is an excellent choice for an EDC flashlight.
It's so close to being perfect, at least for me. There are a few changes that need to happen to receive that kind of praise from me though. Let me know what you think in the comments after watching the video and deciding for yourself.

Just ordered this because I’m making a custom leather holster for my left hip, holds all my gear. A Leatherman Charge with all accessories, Write in the Rain pen, this flashlight, one handed titanium/Damascus steel pocket knife, hidden money/credit card, tiny notepad and keys. This will balance out the LCP Max and magazine on my strong side hip. All this on a Kore Essentials EDC Belt. Having the battery bank is a selling point because in an emergency, a call can be more important than the light. It’s something most people will probably never use but in a emergency where phone battery is dead and if I can make a call I can get help, yeah that’s an option I want on the table. I also have a micro sized light with my leatherman kit and a magnesium match with tinder so yeah build a fire for light and warmth, make a phone call to friend or emergency services. I do have a battery bank in a backpack but on my belt I’m going to carry a flashlight anyway so it might as well be a backup power bank and who knows what happens to my backpack in this scenario.

Mine came today I bought this because of your video. Really it relates most to the Olight Bataan 3 Pro Max in its size. But it's just a brighter light on every level I'm very glad I bought this light because I love the baton III Promax but it could be a little bit brighter.

Great review as always. You are my go to reviewer for flashlights. I do doubt the 4200 lumen claim from the company though, maybe for 5-10s at most

That flashlight checks a lot of boxes for me. I really like that battery level indicator and power bank. Going with the international standard energy gauge colors of green, yellow and red for the battery indicator is awesome. I have a bunch of flashlights some use blue, purple and red and flashing patterns but they differ with each brand. I agree with your suggestions. Having a 1 lumen moon light mode is a must, I think I see a lot of flashlights with the large LEDs like the XHP 50 and 70 with 10 lumen or so as the lowest. I wonder if there would be a really bad tint shift as those LEDs are already bad with the fried egg effect as is. Still I would want 1 lumen and a magnetic tail for sure. I would also want a two selections for turbo like Skilhunt has with the M200 v3, not a fan of how fast those turbo modes step down. I'd be totally fine with 3000 lumen option and an extra minute of sustained output rather than heat soaking so fast at 4200 lumen.

added it to my wishlist on Amazon. my take on the power bank feature... obviously, a power bank is nice when not near a power source but if I use the light to charge my phone.. then if need to use the light as a light, I've compromised the battery life until I get to a power source. I always have a charged power bank in my bag. it would have to be a very unique circumstance to use that feature but I guess it's nice to have just in case. not a deal breaker for me though.

Hi! Is the USB C pert is waterproof even if the rubber covering it is not properly seated or it is already worn out? My Nitecore MH12 V2 is waterproof even if the rubber covering the USB C port is not closed.

Based on other reviews that also measure actual output the Klarus G15 V2 puts out 4060 lumens on fire then steps down to 2010 lumens at 30 seconds and its maximum sustainable output is only around 750 lumens. That performance is disappointing because flashlights from other brands with similar specifications and cheaper prices are able to maintain an output above 4000 lumens after 30 seconds and with maximum sustainable output in the range of 1200 lumens.

Power bank feature is something that is nice to have, but will never be used. It's a flashlight nerd talking point for spec sheet warriors. If you're the type of guy that is going to have a "high end" flashlight like this then you're also going to be the type of guy that has a power bank. Also, using a flashlight as a power bank is the same situation as using your phone as a flashlight; it's a jack-of-all-trades that serves no masters, it might do in a pinch but not something to count on all the time.

I have a separate power bank that I carry for emergencies. But just as you said, you could use this light in a pinch if needed. It’s not adding anything extra to the light that shouldn’t be there so why not have a power bank feature? Not sure of your complaint here
