This Electric Dirt Bike Cost $200 MORE than a Surron // 2024 RFN Apollo Rally PRO 

When powering up the bike, press and hold the “M” mode button, and after 10 seconds the 3 modes flash. This has de-activated the brake sensors and regen. However it will reset itself every time the bike is powered down.👍

Man the fact no one (until now) talks about accessibility of where you can ride is crazy. People with nothing better to do are gonna hate.. Got to experience it to feel it but riding from your house, discovering your own backyard and a view like that? Changes your life.

***To disable brake sensors cut out, but still have the electronics for brake lights and to power it on/start it, hold down the MODE button for 15 seconds and the display will blink...viola...no more engine cutout when you use brakes.*** There are dealers selling this in US already, so it isn't "unreleased". I bought one 4 weeks ago in Idaho. This suspension is definitely better than stock SurRon or Talaria. Seat is much better and sleaker for off-road riding too and looks like a lot of the Talaria/Sur-Ron upgrade stuff already. Ergonomics are still pretty small for dirt bikers (think CRF-230 or TTR-230) that are >5-10 or 190lbs, but that is true of SurRon and Talaria too. Also, you hit it on the head, for power. Because it feels like a bigger and is about 15-25lbs heavier bike than the talaria/sur-ron, stock, it doesn't "feel" faster, but it is, off-road (stock). This is a MUCH more capable bike OFF ROAD in stock form than Talaria/Sur-Ron. Sure, you can upgrade and spend more $$$ and get better, but stock, this is much more refined "dirt bike". Wheels and hub/spokes are much better too, stock. The main issue I've seen for BMS bypass and something like EBMX-9000 upgrade, is the battery is based on 21700 LG cells that don't have the necessary peak current. I've been emailing EBMX on the 9000 tune too, and they are having trouble getting the stock battery to be able to offer much benefit to the aftermarket controller. Even though it says it can do 150A boost, that is the controller, and the battery is simply not capable of that. The battery can't seem to supply that even on a fresh full charge for even 10s in turbo, so it is marketing fluff because the battery isn't using higher Molicel or Samsung 21700's. Sad, as I had higher hopes for the 72v stock this had. Don't get me wrong, this is still a pretty sweet bike if you want to have it more off road and are a smaller person (5-2 to 5-10 and sub 175lb).

Apollo is more of a budget dirt bike brand and you can definitely see the dirt bike in this bike P.S little tip for riding off-road, ALWAYS stay standing up, especially in chunky terrain, its gonna feel like you wanna sit down and take your feet off to catch yourself but it just makes your life way harder. stand up, squeeze the bike with your legs and send it. makes it way more fun and controllable

Use a screwdriver for the spring on the kickstand. Let the spring slide down the screwdriver onto the stud

Use a metal tube to put the spring on by putting the tube through the spring and on to the pin push the spring one and done 👍

You can change the turn on sensor from the brakes to just a button switch btw! So you get rid of the brake sensors makes it amazing to wheelie

That RFN needs the BAC 4000 speed controller for sure and that should hit over 50 MPH

Is it a boost mode or a launch mode? Thats why its only 15 sec you're supposed to use it off the line. Maybe thats why you didn't feel the boost at top speed. Its only an acceleration boost to get you off the line and not another gear at top speed

What I got from this is its slower then a sur ron but as fast as talaria on boost. U can’t wheelie it without messing with it first and I’m guessing it has less upgrade capability. But it suits trails. Overall fun but could be better?

Not sure, but I ride motocross, and if you have your pegs opposite like you have, I think you´ll have broken leg. You have the pegs in opposite way (left on right and right on left) if you put your leg in terain down and your leg get stuck on somethink, the peg should bend in. Anyway nice video, I love your stuff :D.

Dude of course the boost doesn't affect top speed... It doesn't change the battery voltage. It just adds some acceleration. I don't like the concept, however... When you need extra power in the woods, you don't want to press a button before, it needs to be instant

I love how he says to get a big bike for riding dirt and by change I happen to ride a 04 wr450. Alta is the biggest edirt bike I’ve seen and this bike looks like Surron/talaria style with a little boost to power and some dirt bike graphics.

I've seen reviews on this bike it's completely underwhelming so far. BUT I'm thinking there may be a way to unlock it if not it's not worth buying at all. It's a nicer platform to build on the frame the swingarm is solid for sure so maybe when there are upgraded batteries and controllers on the market available maybe then

When the bike is on hold the m button for 15 seconds till the modes flash at you and the brake safety will be turned off.

I actually have the gas 250 version of this and I absolutely love it

First and foremost the more power you have in the dirt whether it’s on the trails or tracks the better. Second, street riding isn’t for everyone me being one, but I live somewhere where there’s more trails then I’ll ever be able to explore. Lastly two strokes will forever be the kings of dirt bikes.

What else can you ride from your garage to there without annoying people? Mountain bike :P I do that with my cousin. A bit less offroad than that trail, and a lot more effort but it is doable. Edit: Looks like you saw one too lol. I"ve seen people on dirtbikes too on the trails we typically go on.

I like the design not sold on the price if it only hits 47mph I would recommend still get a XXX.

Use a screw driver instead of the pliers for the kickstand put it through the hole and put the tip of the screwdriver where the spring goes and tilt up

Kickstand spring: Bend the spring back and forth to insert a coins or washers beween each coil until it's long enough to pop on. Then you always have spare coins or washers wherever you go.😮
