No reason not to do it anyways if you want to get into making your own content, or shoot something short for instagram TV, it's a niche space so lots of room to grow. That aside I'm going to do a head to head with the Atsa in n a bit here, I think the Bustin is slick but more geared towards their style of board and traditional longboards but might take a look, I actually want to get the yo face so might hit them up when I do 🤘🤙💪

@@DredSk8 I have both a push Sportster and a V2 Hybrid Sportster X+... I absolutely love both boards, and I’ll tell yah Bustin absolutely nailed it with the Hybrid lineup. My Hybrid Sportster will 100% achieve the specs listed on their website. The Bustin Shaka-Mote is also an amazing remote!

@@erikdgreenlund awesome glad your enjoying those boards, bustins a downhill company first and it shows so I like that the focus is more of free riding and ride comfort over top end specs 🤙

To be fair it has a waist strap and was not designed for something as monsterous as the Lonestar lol, the maxi is good for boards up to 30-36lbs, this was more an extreme example.

Yup, though you'll probably want to leave the spoiler off, the maxi will accommodate most boards, but larger heavier boards will need a bit extra attention when clipping in.

@DredSk8 don't plan on getting the spoiler just 4wd and the board side wings which Ik I would need those off anyways thank you 😊

Thats unfortunate, its definitely a bit bulky but not terrible for me snd i use it as my daily driver, I think you might run into the same problem with most other bags because of that rigid back plate, I've been testing the Atsa recently and ill say its maybe a bit better on ergo but I have my own frustrations with it. That said what was your biggest issue with the purchase process? I'll forward any feedback along 🤙

@@DredSk8 so first of all just to be clear this is a critique of alterbags. Not of you in any way. My issue with comfort was the very thin padding on the shoulder straps. It feels a bit like its digging into my skin. I tried loading a different bag with 10kg weights to compare and it definetely can use more padding. My issue buying it was that during checkout the shipping price was 48$ and tax was 0$. However, when the bag arrived i was charged an additional around 40$ from FedEx themselves for the shipping itself, despite already paing 48$. Plus around 35$ for tax. Now i dont mind paying import tax, i do it regularly. But when the final checkout calculator shows specific prices there should not be ANY additional hidden charges later on. Considering a big part of my decision to buy this was the relatively low price for an eskate bag, a hidder 75$ charge is ridiculous. There is absolutely no way that they dont know this will happen. Its a choice the willingly make so that the final price when deciding to buy seems lower that it genuinely will be.

@@FridmanB for sure and totally understandable, I think the lack of shoulder padding was a sticking point with me as well, you can get after market slide over pads but it definitely feels like something that should have been stock, I'll pass the above along to the Alter team. If i had to play devils advocate I would say shipping out of Central Asia is a mess in general right now but regardless they should definitely have a bit more transparency on potential additional import/duties.

@@DredSk8 Just to update, I received a 40$ refund for the FedEx surcharge on delivery. ill try to see if I can find any of those slide over pads. Thank you for the info!

@@FridmanB glad to hear, I also talked with them a bit on visibility and they are working on making the shipping policies more visible on the page 🤙

I worked in corporate promo wear for a few years, both are technically correct industry terms for that type of bag, though yes typically if its a 'crumpler' it has a drawstring or cinch and roll tops have a buckle or strap 🤙

Actually to dig a bit further down on that, I was probably literally thinking of the brand 'Crumpler' when I was writing the review, they have similar style bags. Either way though, my Alter maxi still holding up years later
