There’s an elevator at my school that is like that. It sometimes relevels a few inches after opening. Not only that, when it starts moving it moves it goes up starting at full speed (probably has a bad valve). Pretty scary. It’s a belt driven hydraulic with ThyssenKrupp controller btw
There was an old elevator that did this at the hospital my mother works at. Except when it releveled down it would shudder violently. It would feel like the cables were snapping and it scared the crap out of everyone. They replaced the entire system when a patient was being transported on it and caused them to have a literal panic attack.
I'm certainly not an expert on these things by any means, but it looks to me like the up fast valve is closing way too slowly for whatever reason (cold oil?), so by the time it's closed the car is already well above the floor, at which point it relevels back down. The door reversing and closing again at 0:18 is typical on these if they lose the door zone signal when the doors are open.
0:17 I Found That A Elevator In A Apartment…Just Broken After The Other Elevator Is Repaired… And 0:17 Is The Last Thing I Saw Before The Day It Turned Off… It Just Reached The Level…Doors Opens Just Like That, It Closes Then Goes To Other Level…Very Scary…
What the heck this elevator misinstalled?!!... I think the maintenance created of failure caused on elevator. You should NOT go in the elevator. Should report the service need fixtures about that elevator. How was bad this elevator mislevel operating the doors won't open properly! 😨
