Spot on! When Magicians' Souls came out and not locked into Dark Magician deck, many people knew this is a broken card, it just waits for a synergy card.

Me:"strong engine? Ok, but maybe I don't need these EXPENSIVE Cards in my Decks" *tests for ten minutes* Me:*........gosh...dangit"

Imagine in about a year or two, every yugioh deck in the tcg is going to be 60 cards because all of them will run brave, eldlich, despia, shaddoll, dogmatika, invoked, DPE scythe, rokket, souls, chaos, zombie, and the then newly released baby dragon FTK combo lol. Anything less than 60 will not be optimal because by then all our new hand traps will double as quick effect danger monsters. This will be yugioh at its best

Honestly surprised that a lot of decks aren’t on it, 9 copies of souls on multiple turns is crazy especially with the brave tokens in the game

This video made me buy the whole engine, tried it in Zombies.. its actually insanely good with the assault mode pakkage to magicians souls away the "garnet trap" or with the illusion of chaos to put it back in the deck so it isnt a garnet anymore, you should try it! They are also searchable with the Chaos Ruler after u make it using a single E-telly

I love the added value of arc light in the combo decks because of Illusion, it cracked open so many options for deck building that I'm a bit in love with the engine at the moment, even more so than Brave.

I think it's completely unfair and insane that dragoon and souls and dpe are used in decks that have nothing to do with that archetype. Getting sick of it

I mean, I been saying it since the card got announced, and if it impacts the banlist to ban a Dark Magician card, I'll be pretty pissed off lmao. But hopefully that is not the case. I think its a great consistent extender, probs the best one in the game. (post IoC release) AND IRONICALLY, Dark Magician as a deck only wants to extend into Anaconda LMAO But I dont think IoC will get banned, if anything Magician Souls will take the hit.

The souls engine is just incredible for any kind of deck. Even the new mysterune deck can take advantage of it in unique ways. (Hoping for a deck profile on that please)

This is pretty insane in fluffals. Not only can you send toy vendor with Souls to Draw and get a free search you can also place a fluffal on top of your Deck with Illusion of chaos to get a free Special summon of toy vendor. And with Royal Penguins garden you can Play 6 fluffal Penguins and have another continous spell to send with souls. The new chimera from Bach is also very nice to Break your opponents Board and Draw more cards. And youre actually playing poly so it cant even be targeted

I tried the engine alone and already loved it, but then i tried souls package and brave engine and man i couldn't believe how strong it is

my favourite deck is endymion love playing magician's souls in it, might run this new card when it hits master duel

I don't think every deck can run souls just because they run brave like pk-brave or prank-kid brave barely have the room. But decks like eldlich running brave with this engine would work.

I really want to get a planet of Magicians Souls. However it's for a mystic piper deck, not DM. So I'm wondering if I should get them, or if MS will get hit to 1 or banned. It seems like they are pushing DM into tier 1 slot, but we all know about heavy nerfs/ bans they did to prophecy.

So its maybe a long shot because I'm legit putting the deck together in my head as I'm watching this but what about branded dragoon. The ocg banned dragoon before they could fool around with the new timeaus if I'm correct so I can see souls and its ritual tutor working really well with branded to make you a dragoon who isnt restricted by red eyes fusion, along with super poly shenanagans + uhhh albaz? On your opponents turn. So I guess chaos albaz? Idk I have just stopped getting many new cards since my dragon link deck has literally carried me the last 2? 3? Years lol. But I'm really excited for albaz. This souls engine seems like an interesting fit. Ima prob try it in eldlich also once I can afford to grab this new ritual guy. Magician of souls review: 5/5 card - However, the problem here is we don't have a deck that can truly abuse this card at the moment. And with so many different engines or hand traps being incorporated into different decks the magician souls package may not see play. Another problem we have is when it comes to using cards like Pot of Prosperity, which prevent you from drawing cards. With pot of desires limited to 1, I would think more people would shift more to Pot of Prosperity level. Pot of extravagance is the same too when it comes too limiting your draws. Now a deck like Eldlich could potentially use the magician souls package, however my issue with this is you are trading resources in hopes of drawing something better, which is not consistent in my view.
