This Entire NYC Townhouse Costs Less than a Studio… Why? 

I hope a family gets this place! This would be great space with room for kids to play.

Amazing place! Spacious! Beautiful hardwood floors, large kitchen with full sized appliances, nice bathrooms and an actual laundry room! I love the bedrooms and closets. Overall great storage, plus a backyard! Another bathroom would have been ideal, but a fantastic place at a reasonable price!

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I could honestly say you get a bang for your buck with this townhouse. Very nice & spacious. Great backyard. This would be great for roommates or family. Either way, it's a win 👍 ❤️!!!

I’ve been watching your videos for over two years now and I must say this place is absolutely fantastic! I watch other videos too and something this size, and this nice usually go for $7500-$10,000 a month. Why is it so cheap? We’ve seen places that aren’t any bigger than the kitchen and the living area go for $5000 a month. If you live in New York City, and are looking for a place, you’d be crazy not to rent this one!

I fell in love with that apartment and the neighborhood is classic Bklyn. The kitchen is a dream. This would be a great place for an co-housing arrangement, which would put the rent very low for each of the members. As is, the price is amazing.

I lived in a basement studio in the Back Bay (Boston) and it was surprisingly sunny! Someone could actually furnish the lower two bedrooms as a living room and bedroom, then rent them out as an Air B&B, with a private entrance. I would put a formal DR in the front of the LR, and make the pantry into a laundry closet.

Cash, I dunno if you will read this, but a Kumato is a type of tomato. It is so delicious I stopped buying big tomatoes and only buy these - when I can find them, they are not commonly grown in Australia for commercial sale. Most of us have to grow them at home on the patio and they're perfect for patios because they're small :) Take care and eat your veggies!

Yay you did my neighborhood again! Yeah that Myrtle/Broadway intersection is bonkers. You found my favorite pizza place, LP Pizzeria. Wow who knew a deal could be had on such an awesome townhouse in Bushwick.😮 You should grab it and move your family here. 😅

What an incredible space. They kept a lot of the old architectural features which is great & room sizes compared to what we've been seeing in new builds is great. I know someone who would absolutely love those wood floors! Those lamp posts someone put in the backyard are so quirky & old fashioned! Love them & they go so well with the park benches! But can someone please anchor the dishwasher to the counter? Overall I like it. Great place & great price but how far is it from the projects? & can someone figure out where that 2nd apartment is? Why am I thinking totally below group with no windows?

What gets me is that with a backyard that big they could put split units throughout the house instead of having to rely on old window AC units.

I wonder how many times you visit a place and think "dang, we should have gotten this place..."

I live in the Midwest, can see the stars at night, it’s quiet, green grass and trees, huge garage, huge basement, huge kitchen. Mortgage is $800 a month. Come at me bro

The stuff growing in the back yard is Japanese knot wood. Extremely invasive and it’ll come up thru pavement and concrete. Crazy stuff. I deal with it at my property in Nova Scotia. When I built, I wasn’t allowed to remove any soil from the property to avoid spreading. I cut it, bag it and put it out in the trash. Also good to let it dry after cutting to kill it.

Omg! I haven't even watched 10 seconds of this video so far and had to stop it to say that is the EXACT dining table and chairs set that we have! Except we had a piece of glass custom made for the top so the surface wouldn't get scratched up. Ashley Furniture for the win! lol! Ok... carry on... 😎

That's the most gorgeous place you've shown. The neighborhood is what I'd want if I lived in NYC. Rent the bottom 2 bedrooms and, for NY, the price is palatable.

So, we USED to call 'those above ground subways' 'the EL'. If you say 'the EL' (for elevated) I think most people will know what you mean.

Awesome townhouse! That top floor bedroom is gonna be hot as all heck in the summer - can’t imagine what the electric bill is gonna be. Super gorgeous but I do not miss living in NYC.

That is a rough neighborhood. You find everything you need for cheap except you. $5.00 for two non alcoholic bottle drinks walk one block and pay $3.00.

Beautiful place wow...! I lived on 224 Myrtle Ave in 1998 fresh out of college.... 3 bedroom walkthrough, large loft living room space, 1000 dollars. The neighbourhood wasn't that nice though back then, it was scary.

This is an opportunity, IMHO. A lot of space at an affordable price. Now, this is where I'd like to see a small family sign the lease. LOVED the wood flooring!!!

If the subway is close this would be an amazing steal for anyone! rooms are all relatively comperable too.

Almost like RV living...you New Yorkers 0ften to save have to keep it paired down,,,I get it..and toss a lot inbetween moves,,,but sure do like it..this is just a dream home..with so much I find pretty and my style and color...thanks for giving us this tour and understanding..so Maaaaayyyyybbbeee a smaller one floor place with elevator or one flight only that is safe and relatively quiet could work with a straight shot commute for my dream. Thanks for giving us a clear idea. Love this place. Too much for my dream space wise..I could not keep it from a full time liver whom this makes sense for in their budget and plans. Love this guy you collaborate with. Our home when folks ranched had that tingly hot water heat with that kind of register...the metal tingles inside when warming up..loved it. I love all the paint, finish, crown molding some real wood and some preserved details..to me his is heavenly and gorgeous...fancy in a lovely way.

Now THIS PLACE is worth a few thousand a month! Look at all that space!😄

less than a studio? Can you imagine the costs to heat and cool that place. you have stairs going right into your room with no door, that's an upstairs family room. NYC still ridiculous prices.

All toilet seats should be wooden. Tubs should be wooden, too. In spite of the fact that I LOVE tile, it's inappropriate for bathrooms. Bathroom floors need to to non-slip something!
