Subscribed🎊.... let's👀 how many ppl have great advice for me getting JOB.. on this podcast and @hotseatspodcast Look forward to the feedback. Thanks David
@@chazzy_licious_is_cookin Ever consider providing child care from home? Depending on the state you live, you're reimbursed 100% for supplies, work related trips, add ons to your home that correspond with children's education.etc.🤷🏾♀️
@joemincer8882 no 😫I have kids and that's enough in this house. It takes alot to certify for watching kids that's just another business where I'm physically working which is why I'm shifting mindset. I just dropped a ecookbook on Friday . That's gonna mk me money in perpetuity 💪🏾
I had to come to this realization, literally just started a job that came with every resource I was lacking for my business. The freedom of the job opened the door for me to build my business when I’m done working.
I am her and this hit my soul to the core. I just got a job about 10 weeks ago after being solely an entrepreneur for 5 years. I understand the resistance of going back to work or “plantation” as I call it. But it was very necessary for me as a single woman with bills.
This use to be me. It changed when I shut up and started listening to people who clearly are doing better than me. Why do we fight so hard for our poverty 😮💨
David is 100% right about needing a job to help structure her time. I didn’t want to go back to work, but having the pressure of a time window to get shit done has helped me focus on what I actually want to do and focus on that. The job is the fuel to get focused and drive the desire.
This was a great episode for those who have hundreds of ideas constantly popping up in their heads, those with older/only daughter syndrome, and people who don’t know how to LISTEN! I could relate to her in some ways but she has / had an excuse for everything. She wasn’t taking the time to listen to the advice that could really change her life. Instead she was trying to prove herself and over explaining why she is where she is or does what she does. It’s a victim mentality and “woe is me” with this idea of “I’m going to prove them wrong because I can do this”. What’s crazy is you never said she wasn’t going to get there or have it, you wanted her to have a solid plan and strategy that would not only help take care of her household expenses but fund her business at the same time while also creating a schedule to keep her focused. It was very simple but as you said she thinks a job is working backwards when in reality she already has been working from the negative and a deficit with the number of businesses she hasn’t been successful at. I appreciate the patience you displayed during this conversation. I hope she actually rewatches this a few times, listens to herself, listens to you and actually heeds your advice. Her being 41, ageism is very real in the workforce and retirement is but a little over twenty years away. She has no time to not listen to what you’re telling her to do.
Chef Chazzy, thank u for sharing ur story. I'm in the same boat, cash strapped, mom 24/7, grand ideas but not much focus. This episode really helped me. I'll be following u...while building my business on the weekend
I was her. Ma’am if you read this. The best decision I made was slowing down. That was 2 years ago. Now I’m doing so much better. Have faith, you will find the time to build your business. Also there’s more politics in entrepreneurship than corporate America.
@@chazzy_licious_is_cookin I have to share more because it's been an amazing journey and I was terrifyed for most of it. About 6 or 7 months ago I finally settled down and started realizing how much better I was doing. I went from burning both ends making almost 6 figures in my career and trying to get a business off the ground to a company paying me less than 1/2 of what I was making and reevaluating my business focus. Now I have more money saved than ever, better credit, more time at least it seems that way because I'm getting the things done that are important and I've learned how to use it effeciently, in college getting a degree related to my business field, thanks to the new job, also thanks to the new job an IT certification and other amazing opportunites. I joined an online group 3 weeks ago started by a person in IT automation (the field I finally decided to start my business in) who is one of the best in the business it's capped at 400 people. A rough guest is 1/3 of the people active in the group are entreprenuers some who have built and sold multi million dollar businesses and they are from around the world. I'm getting information now that is priceless for $68.00 a month, the people who joined the group later are paying a lot more. Now, to build my business I'm following a blueprint created by successful entreprenuers, yes the group has a blueprint and it's on point. I have to say it's been a very productive 2 years. I hope things go well for you, have faith.
The main issue I see is that she talks more than she listens, she is ready to answer before fully hearing the question, I understand having a lot of passions but this was everywhere, I’m tired now lol but much respect to everyone that sits in the hot seat!
Babyyyyyyy. When you GAVE HER a simple niche, and she said no… I’m going to heal people through food 😩😩😩. We never heard anything about healing until this very moment 😭😭
The playback clips 😂😂😂 But honestly this was good. I took away having a clear plan and structure when trying to be an entrepreneur and to start small and focused. This was a reminder for me. David you did well, because there were some points I would’ve just been rude in calling her out. NGL.
Perfect, Not insulting but correcting. Especially for creative ppl who start bix - partially scatterbrain (not focus), too much ideas/plans but not clearly execution. This man is correct bix advisor. This is me as interior designer & many bix bosses idiots did come to me with their many bix plans also as they wanted to start up shops/offices/restaurants but they also veru scattered brain.
I can relate so much with this beautiful young woman. We are passionate about so many things, and everything feels urgent. I took a pause from teaching this school year, and even though I have been available to hold it down on the home front, the bills have definitely been piling up.
My Sunday after Church in Gym Soicial.Proof Pod.. THE NEW CAMAERA SIDE CAMERA SHOT IS FIRE. When u said cut the camera. HER replies was so directly and Transparent.. Go get a job.. U DoNT HAVE time to dedication to your business now dat a EGO PLAY.. A struggling business owner is not defeated by failure, but shaped by resilience, learning to rise stronger with every setback.
Not being funny, but maybe some people here have ADHD. When you do have it, you're easily distracted. It's hard to zoom into the message. I personally love the music and extras lol. It was hilarious. Didn't distract me from the message at all. So it's going to be hard to please everyone. As a matter of fact, I paused it and interviewed for a third shift job while I revamp my business. I got the job lol. Thank you! 💪🏾
When you asked how she could make money as a caterer without doing the work I had about four ideas immediately. That's only because I've been listening for so long.
This episode reminds me of when 50cent and the producers at Power thought it would be a smart idea to change Power theme song 😂. Sometimes change isn’t needed! I will say keep the hot seat simple, without all the editing because I truly thought this was a joke. Like I thought someone was making fun of the Hot Seat. We love the hot seat but take back to the original format PLLLEEEASSSEEE #JustMy2Cents
This was a great show. I think I saw a person who wanted answers, but refused them because they thought they had all the answers. Someone let me know if I'm wrong.
I'm her mom & have worked hard. But I have never been all over the place & I did my research before I would take on a new business. I have always made a lot money. She never wanted to listen and how was so successful in my business. Now I'm retired & get a very good monthly income.
✿ All the extra effects and music Is a distraction! . It feels like ur messing up something u have no business messing with! . Please go back to the original format and if you need to add music do it at the end when ur wrapping up . your ORIGINAL RECIPE is a winner!❤ . don't throw it away chasing a new LESS TASTY formula!😊🥝
We love the hot seat, however the extra sound effects and clips, I feel take away from the pure experience of the interview, wisdom being shared and encouragement. This new way of showing the interview is a little confusing. Prefer the old way.
I can't quite put my finger on it but I just feel like the reality for her is she's doing other stuff besides the culinary stuff cos she's not really listening and has an answer for everything. No clear answers though...explanations instead.
@essencehayes5596 oh ok. I was like what happened. I'm glad I was apart of something new different and innovative. THANKS @davidshands for having me on this HOTSEAT episode 🔥🔥🔥
@@chazzy_licious_is_cookinIt's great because it's a way to help your husband and provides money for your business. New marriages need room to blossom without financial stress.☀️
@@RealSocialProof You have the patience/endurance of Job. Her chaotic energy transfers through the net. She’s ALL..OVER..THE..PLACE! She couldn’t seem to answer any questions. Imagine living, working with, doing business with or being raised by someone so emotionally unstable. And she’s a psychologist to boot😧
